Pre-order Until Dawn and you’ll receive the Extended Edition which includes a special bonus scene for free.

This exclusive scene sees Matt and Emily, a new couple, out on the mountain – but it’s not long until they start to suspect they aren’t alone

When eight friends become trapped on a remote mountain getaway gone wrong, things quickly turn sinister and they start to suspect they aren’t alone. Gripped by fear and with tensions in the group running high, you’ll be forced to make snap decisions that could mean life or death for everyone involved. Every choice you make while playing as each of the eight friends – even the seemingly trivial ones – will carve out your own unique story.

With spine-tingling performances from a Hollywood cast including Hayden Panettiere (Heroes, Nashville) brought to life with the power of PlayStation 4 – your actions alone will decide who survives Until Dawn.

Until Dawn Features:

Gripping story – Set at an isolated mountain lodge where nothing is as it seems, 8 friends try to stay alive with a killer on the loose. Players define the relationships between the characters through dialogue and experience the night from their unique point of view. Written in collaboration with famed horror writers and directors Larry Fessenden and Graham Reznick, find out who will survive Until Dawn.

Next gen Horror – Harnessing the power of an evolved Killzone Shadowfall engine, this 3rd person interactive horror will shock and horrify players thanks to its realistic graphics and edge of your seat gameplay as they navigate their way through a terrifying night. The DualShock®4 motion sensor functionality will track how still you can be whilst in hiding from Until Dawn’s fearsome terrors and the camera will capture player scares as they happen to share with friends.

“Butterfly Effect” – Players carve their path to survival with branching story lines which mean that no two stories will be the same. Decisions, big and small, will shape each player’s unique story. Inspired by the chaos theory, the butterfly effect could make trivial split-second decisions ripple into moments of grave peril.

Life-and-death moral dilemmas - Place yourself in impossible situations where there is no right or wrong answer. Friend or foe, live or die – make these decisions before it’s too late.

Hollywood talent – With spine-tingling performances from a talented cast of Hollywood actors, including Hayden Panettiere (Heroes, Nashville) and Rami Malek, Until Dawn delivers credible performances that forge an emotional bond with players.

This highly-charged emotional investment allows players to fear for a character’s safety and is crucial to enjoying Until Dawn.

I'm tempted to get this game cos it sounds amazing but at the same time I'm not a fan of horror stuff unless it has guns. lol

Yes, this has no guns. Just **** your pants, running away from things and making some difficult decisions every now and then.

I have pre-ordered it today using this deal. It is actually the first PS4 retail game I have bought since Destiny. 1 per year isn't too bad I suppose. X)

Heat! Thanks, pre ordered now

Does anyone know if they take payment straight away? Or on despatch?

Original Poster

Considering they don't take PayPal, I'm not sure. I think it might be straight away though.

Although Play.com only charged on dispatch and this site is basically just Play.com with a different name.

Good price. Holding out for £30 for this and the UC Collection. Whoever gets there first wins!

they take payment on order not dispatch

Quidco have 8% cash offer on rakuten at the mo aswell

how long is this game?

I'm very intrigued by this game but I'll be holding off until I see some user reviews after the release. I think it could either be great or disappointing. Good pre order price though so heat added.

Most likely we won't know until close to release.

I love it when people say things like that and then they buy Fifa, Call of Duty and Battlefield every year.

Then they should stick to it because games like this aren't meant for them.

If they want to play the same online competitive cack year in, year out then that's up to them but others prefer to have some original options every now and then.

I'm not saying I don't like originality but to me this just looks like a graphically improved version of the tell tale games.

Well it might be, it depends on how it uses that inspiration from TellTale, Quantic Dream etc.

It's a damn sight more original than shooting whiny, asthmatic, over-privileged 12 year olds in the face on CoD anyway.

Plus it has Hayden Panettiere's digitised boobs

i am ..did you resolve it or did the code expire?

I think the code expired. I ordered directly from Simply Games for a couple of pounds more (£36.85).

Just really fancy this game (and I reckon I can probably play it pretty quickly and trade it in...)

Seems they've upped the price to £40 now, though. I guess Zavvi might be an option with a 10% 'new account' discount code (WELCOME)? Not sure if those work on pre-orders.

Or £37.57 using code 7KIAKPZPVE8GYFVM at Rakuten via GameSeek.

I'm also planning on playing through this and then quickly trading it in. It's helpful that it comes out just before the bank holiday weekend.

It might but I don't play games like this more than once because I think they're meant to be more of an experience.

One of my favourite games is Heavy Rain but I've only ever played through it once. Same with the Telltale games etc.

Both codes are no longer valid. Does anyone have a code that works or know where to pre-order this around the £35 mark? Thanks

The only similarities with Telltalle games is the decision making and that's all, the decisions you'll make in Until Dawn will actually have more consequences to them. I think it's more like Heavy Rain. The premise of this game is very exciting, the possibilities of different outcomes is great for replay value, will hopefully feel like you're in a horror film.

Shame the codes are expired. I tried using AUG10 and although it knocks £3.98 off in checkout, but when you click on place order it tells you to use a valid coupon.
