No

Yodel is such a corrupt company, had an item fully tracked sent from US, once they got hold of it the tracking stopped. I wont buy off any companies that send using them

This is an option pal. RM pricing is ridicules for stuff over 3kg. Also p2g most of the times has some sort of voucher that cuts off the price to half or free.

I wouldnt use Yodel in any circumstances, as an eBay seller for anything of value which needs to get there use UPS (£7.79 to UK address from an UPS access point on www.interparcel.com) or FedEx, otherwise for small, light and cheap stuff use MyHermes website £2.60 for 1kg or less and comes with 20quid insurance. MyHermes used to be aweful but are pretty good now.

Ice cold from me sorry. Yodel are the worst courier company in the history of mankind and I wouldn't trust them to deliver a parcel next door. Wouldn't use them even if they were free.

eBay use them now with their Global Shipping Programme when buying abroad. Yodel in Edinburgh are good, I like the drivers and they're really reliable. But I know some other areas definitely aren't so lucky.

From door to your rubbish bin/over the back gate in the pouring rain within 24 hours, guaranteed.

MyHermes are as bad. You just gotta look at their facebook page. Says its all.

I used Parcel2go once. Shipped 8 items from UK to France. 6 were delivered.

Where did they go. Nobody knows!

Avoid at all costs.

That's tragic. You really need to have your act together if you're going to have social media presence. You can't hide negative feedback any more so you have to up your game.

myHermes in Edinburgh are good though. Always use them for collection and they've always shown up except maybe 2/3 times in the past two years. Never had any complaints about non deliveries. Really I think it comes down to luck on who your local couriers are. If you get some halfwit who doesn't respect anyone or anything then it's going to create a lot of misery.

if you sell bulky/heavy items on ebay it's worth looking at their prices for parcelforce 48 and 24 - tracked and includes £100 insurance
I just booked a 4kg 80x41x10cm parcel on 48 for £7.57 - and you can drop off at your local post office

I have been using MyHermes for 3 years, I live in Derby and have sent hundreds of parcels with them. They have never lost a single parcel. I have recently used Yodel, what a load of rubbish, if your lucky enough to be in when they call, they just ring the bell, shove the parcel in your hand and disappear, never asked my name just to make sure they have the correct address,,,5 weeks ago I should have received a tracked signed for package from Dell,, this was sent by UKmail who I knew nothing about, the parcel never arrived, impossible to talk to a human being at UKmail all done through submitting an internet form. Informed that parcel dleivered and signed for, maybe but not at my address. The reply from Ukmail was go back to Dell. It appears UKmail are just agents who use any Tom Dick or Harry with a robin reliant who might just be able speak English. They are rubbish, even reviews posted against this company finish up on a .P.O box number. So keep the good work up MyHermes, you have gone a long way into sorting lots of problems out, unfortunately you still rely on the private car/van owners to deliver/collect, I'm lucky the people in Derby calling on my house are brilliant.

I'm really pleased that you two haven't had bad experiences as I and many others have. And I sincerely hope it stays that way for you. But trust me they are almost as bad as yodel, from going off my experiences and others. And I've had numerous problems with both companies

I don't want to turn this into a debate, just putting the information out there, so others can make an informed decision whether to use them or not.

At the end of the day we all want the same thing - a good, reliable, trustworthy service that we have paid for

Be very careful with Parcel 2 Go they're a shambles! I previously used a discount code and they charged the full amount from my account!

I use my hermes all the time for heavier items to all over the country. always delivered. no problems so far. I'm in London.

It's a shame citylink went under. must have sent 200+ parcels with them and only had one minor issue which was quickly resolved. Currently giving DPD a go as Parcelforce are in the process of switching over go a private driver business model like Yodel. About 15 parcels in and one misdelivery so far. Hopefully no more!

You'll need to do the packaging. Collection. Or drop off depends o. The type of service you choose. If drop off selected (cheaper option) you need to take the parcel to a "parcel shop" yourself (not post office!). You also needs printer to print off the label before hand.

Thank you so much for the information. It has a lot of headache I don't have any printer to print and I can't find any parcel shop near me so it's better to go to post office and send the parcel through Royal Mail it's less than 2kg it might be £5.
Thank you from your great comment

Sorry to hear that. Well if this is not a very bulky item, then if you choose the second class delivery with no tracking info, there is a chance youll be charged only £2.80 for it. Obviously based on the accurate size and weight of your parcel you may quote the actual price from RM website.

75cm that is pretty small for a parcel

very restrictive the size for 12kg

I think

No

you have to pay extra for that
