1000 bonus points for spending £5 or more in store - offer ends 12/01/20

Uninstall and reinstall the app - won't even sign me in! Uninstalled again and now it won't even reinstall! What a pile of faecal matter.

To be fair the offers on their app are just a general offers section it’s not a voucher as such. You could try it again but the T&C’s of the £5 - 1000 point offer also states one time per subcard customer

Scan your subcard as normal when you go to the till, then points should appear “within 48 hours” mine appeared within about 2 hours

Just scan your subcard or QR code on your phone. Mine appeared within a couple of minutes. I missed out on 200 extra points as I didn't buy 2 subs. As that was an offer they ran on 28th December.

I’m not vegan, but happily eat/try vegan foods, and I’d say it was alright. I’d give it 3 out of 5 personally, the meatballs are drier than the traditional ones, vegan cheese on its own tasted a bit weird... but combined all together in the sub it does seem close to the real deal to be fair! All in all I’d say if you’re vegan or veggie and miss meatball subs, not a bad substitute for you!

That’s a good heads up, I’d be tempted to contacted Subways support about that. If I’m honest I didn’t know Subway ever did a physical card!

I have contacted them and they have said if the 1000 points do not track by the end of the promotion (12th) then contact them again so I am hopeful.
Thanks OP, anyone know if the 1000 points on a £5 spend is for all app users? Only the veggie meatball offer is showing in mine.

I seem to have similar problems with this App. Doesn't remember my login. No wonder my points don't track.

Staff in Subway admitted a lot of people have issues with the app. I had similar issues with the QR not loading and offers not loading, I found that I had to delete all app data (didn't uninstall app), then like you I couldn't log in, I left it a while, a few hours I reckon and then logged in fine and it worked fine, as long as I let each page load before going to another (eg. when opening the app, let the QR load before going into offers). It seems to break whenever I start going too fast for the app and I have to repeat the whole process over again.

I also just scan my card, only use the app to check balance and offers. Any problems with adding points just keep your receipt and add them 48 hours later.
The app used to be a lot better but is really glitchy in recent months. That's the main reason I scan using my card. But just keep your receipts and add them at least 48 hours after your purchase.

You can't miss the physical cards in stores. They are usually right by the till. Next time your in take a look I'm sure you'll spot them!
Do subway use different cutlery for their vegetarian/vegan subs? For example they usually cut footlong in half so would the knife be separate? Just asking because of cross contamination

ya there is a red knife and green knife. they "should" use green for vegetarian subs and Red for Meat. They should also be changing their gloves after each serving.

To be honest though, the amount of items i have seen droppings of meat near the cheese (since they keep the cheese next to meet), i wouldn't be surprised if there isn't cross contamination. In India for example they literally separate the meat section and vegetarian section.
As someone gave me the tip, keep a copy of your card in the Stocard app (or just take a screen grab of it), that way if (when) the app doesn't load then you can still use it.

I got the 1,000 and I definitely didn't spend more than £5 but I did buy the meatless meatballs.
I can't even sign up on the app when I got my card so gave up.

Actually I perfer the vegan one, and to let you know the amount of salt and fat in the veggie patty was far more than the big beef melt they offered and more than anything else on the menu.

It's not in 2 pieces though, they may do that to make it easier to heat at your local..

After speaking to staff at mine they told me profits had been lowering for a while, it was last summer they halfed the amount of cheese given in a sub, and gave less salad, also told me many meal deals now don't come with refills of drink because people were taking like 4 or 5 cups worth and sharing, they still do if you buy a meal deal upgrade but not the daily one or a student or OAP deal.

The vegan patty is in two pieces at all the subways I've visited. They say it's easier to fit the sub? Anyway as long as it's the aame size as the veggie one it doesn't matter. The veggie patty was just one bigger piece. I just preferred the taste of the veggie one. As for drink refills it was only last year I found out you could get more than one cup.
