Are you ok?
I used to buy my daughter cheap school shoes and they would last a couple of months but lately been buying clarks and she finds it almost impossible to wear these out. Would recommend clarks childrens shoes. Worth the extra money
Thanks for this, was wanting to buy my children some new shoes and prefer Clarks. Heat added
Thank you op I only buy Clark's for my children xx

Indeed, the days of Clarks making decent quality shoes are long gone.

Totally AGREE. I never thought this was true until I actually purchased Clarks instead of the cheap one from supermarket.
They last so much longer..
I goto the Clarks Outlet in Livingston, Scotland.. they are a lot cheaper than the Clarks stores you visit, they are simply last years stock, as in fashion. get them cheaper via the outlet.. Recommend anyone in Scotland with Kids to visit..
Still expensive!
Wait for the sale prices to fall further.
I've bought clarks but my kids get them scuffed up in next to no time, so stick to Tesco.
Recently got a pair of shoes from Clarks on sale, full price was around £80. Soles were halfway gone after 10 days of walking on holiday. Similar Merrells and Sketchers I've got are absolutely fine after 3 years..

Maybe just an unlucky pair but I'll avoid Clarks from now.

I cant think of a single product tesco sells where this statement holds true.
Glue comes off and soles fall apart with many Clarks shoes. They do give a minor £10 voucher if you kick up a fuss. Many Clarks shoes are made in India. They are not British shoes! But, they still last longer than Brantano, Matalan and Tesco for my children! I cannot justify £60 for a pair. Even £30 seems steep. Check out the prices on the Indian websites!
Too expensive the clarks outlet near me is cheaper
Had Clarks and Tescos for my child...both fell apart, now on to Aldi for the last term!
If you're concerned about quality, simply wipe the shoes with a Nokia 3310 and they will become indestructible.

Geox shoes are by far the best for my boy. He destroyed a tesco pair in a week and a clarks pair in 3 weeks, Crocs shoes lasted a little longer (3 months) but he actually out grows Geox. Geox shoe are priced the same as Clarks but you can get some good deals in the sales. I managed to get some for £12.50 a pair from John Lewis in their sale about 6 months ago.

Tesco & Quality really should not appear in the same sentence.........ever.
Ordered a pair of new leather work shoes for £20 click and collect. Was going to spend £10 in new look on basic ones but these will be miles better!
thanks ordered for my little one
good deal
Worth it with 50%, I also like to buys the kids Start Rite shoes, found these have the edge in terms of quality and definitely last a bit longer. That being said they're usually more expensive! But good deal, thanks OP.

I've only purchased from a stockist (where they measure up) or from the website where shoes are supplied in various widths. Guess it depends where you shop.
Thanks! Just ordered
Clarks are great, they have outlasted many fancy brands I've tried.

They do a nice pair of lemon soles.
I think they added the 50% on the price.
I bought a pair of Clarks boots, the leather came apart from the sole in multiple places. Can't believe it as it's a boot so should be hard wearing. Clarks gone downhill.
