North face stuff at the moment looks as if it got bought out by sportsdirect and re-located their design team to the tik tok house
Still horrendously priced
Looks like a star trek uniform

No beef with North Face gear, but their website is awful everything and trying to return something was a nightmare. Shame as the deals are not bad
The 'Men's Impendor C-Knit Gore-Tex Jacket' looks like you're wearing a light blue crop top over a black jacket. Not good design in my opinion.
The deal prices still seem expensive for a lightweight rainproof jacket to me too...

Nike
Still horrendously priced

Expensive and poor quality. Need to be 80 to 90% off 😫
Does anybody else having problems ordering from the site. They need to improve their website with such overpirce clothes
Looks like the wardrobe department from Star Trek!!
North face are an overpriced street wear brand now unfortunately. They are only after the urban ghetto look now.
Overpriced even after discount.
Never been a fan of them. Even with 50% off they still have not won me as customer....
Poor selection on sale colours styles, nothing interesting
I often shake my head at some of the colour schemes of The North Face clothing posted on here which is a shame because some of the deals certainly when heavily reduced in price on Amazon are appealing.

Thanks OP for the heads up about joining the free VIP Peak Programme and receiving a £10 discount code, which I’ve just done just in case I find something worth ordering.
Expensive way to impersonate a Deliveroo driver
Has North Face always been chav central? I seem to remember it being a bit more tasteful than this.
Bought a Coat in USA couple years back $90 £300 back here scandalous prices in UK No longer what they were...pity.

Whilst it's clearly never been 'high end' outdoor gear, it never used to be a chavs choice. I've got loads of North Face gear (Ski, Walking etc) from the US 10-15 years ago, it's all great quality, still going strong and no complaints.

That said, agree with royaltee on the current stuff, looks like they're chasing teen fashion rather than outdoor market. Seems to be just the last few years where it's filtered down from the middle class wearing it to talk the dog in the park, to knuckledraggers 3 up on scooters.

The “series” gear is still good ie Summit, Flight, etc. - but for the same cost you can buy Arcteryx, Norrona, Häglofs all are better quality. Sadly the UK brand has definitely become targeted for the complete opposite person of what TNF are for.
My TNF gore tex ski gear from 5 years ago is still going strong having done a season in France + plus numerous weeks either side of that. Wear my jacket daily when the weather is mince.
Shame they have gone down the Chav route, ruined a decent outdoor brand

Check all the pensioners playing down that its "uncool" to wear NF gear as its brightly coloured, Street, ghetto, chav.....and quality, just because its sold in JD SPORTS?On here raging because there's not enough discount for them

Exactly, and to say that the quality is rubbish is complete crap. The Flex GTX 2.0 jacket, which I have, is constantly winning reviews as one of the best 3-layer Goretex jackets around!
Buy British . Not this
Ah, the perfect uniform for your appearance on Police Interceptors!
Used to be a credible mountain wear brand now its just apparel for chavs

Really? The Thermoball jacket provides amazing insulation and can be packed away so easily. I always have mine on me, neither too hot or too cold. Perfect as a top or mid-layer. My north face hat is also brilliant. I spend a good 6 hours out there every day, with cold temps in the morning and rising temperatures throughout the day. I haven't been disappointed yet. This was bought last year.
Chavs and 'urban' guys are beginning to wear Canada Goose jackets now.
I couldn't even afford to be a chav!

Exactly this.
The quality of the standard kit has diminished horrendously over the years.Have a flight fleece & a summit jacket which are superb and lasted years.
Is flight still available?
Summit series seems limited too.
The power of branding. Way overpriced to start with
Fleeces priced at £50 that were allegedly RRP £100.

Shocking prices.
