Heat for the deal, but Thornton's chocolate ain't what it used to be, especially the "Classic" chocolates, waxy and pretty tasteless. It used to be a premium chocolate, but now scrapes the bottom along with Quality Strret and Roses, who at least aren't pretending to be anything else.
Delivery charge kills the deal.
Could do without a repeat of last year when these got down to £2.

Delivery charge kills the deal.

The over rated and over priced factor kills the deal too, not what it used to be..

Surprised they also charge the same for local collection
I'm still angry at them for stopping production of their fondant-filled chocolate mice.

Agreed, they’ve cheapens the brand. Prefer hotel chocolate.

I guess you still got a few boxes left in the cupboard.

Yeah... just another supermarket brand now, really... and not even one of the better ones. Monty Bojangles and Godiva do much better stuff in your average Asda / Tesco.
Thornton's shot themselves in the foot by going into supermarkets and corner shops. No longer a premium brand as many have said, just another low end choc, produced for pennies and lacking any quality.
their chocolate is rank
25% discount code doesn’t work for me, however

Code Student10 offers 10% off and you can get 7.2% cash back with TopCashback
Anyone know the best buy date? If I stock up now will they be out of date by next Christmas? I just got away with last years Monty Bojangles truffles which weren't out of date until March 2020 but I think Thorntons might be shorter date?

It tastes good though.

The deal has expired but most stuff is cheaper now without the code.
