Think the OP meant the speakers have good feedback from people who have bought the speakers, i.e. the Customer Reviews, not feedback from the actual speakers.

Hehe.

fwiw I purchased some fairly expensive Gigaworks thinking they'd eliminate the need for a Subwoofer - they ended up sounding far worse than my old fairly cheap Cambridge Soundworks speakers.

In the end I settled for some Logitech 2.1's, cost around £25 from Amazon and the sound quality's really good, far better than the Gigaworks IMO.

It's ]these - the price has gone up a little but I'd still recommend them over the GigaWorks, although they don't look quite as nice.

Don't know if it's possible for my face to be any more red!!!

There are some good deals in there, but I'm never buying another Creative product again after the palaver with X-Fi sound card drivers never being updated etc.

I'd second this - I also have these and think they sounds great.

creative 2.1 systems are pretty good, i've got a refurbed G380 and can't fault it, really

I'm not sure about how things work in the UK but Logitech (great quality products apart from their cheaper end webcams) own Labtec and you can often get the same speaker in a different guise for a lot less cash dressed up as a "Labtec"

I currently use a Cambridge Soundworks 5.1 system and considering the lesser amount of wires etc - I'd have to say I'm just as happy with the "fraction of the price" Labtec 2.1 speakers I have ;-)

I've got some GigaWorks T20 at work and for a two set speaker system they are very good. I have a Saitek 3 speaker system ]http//ww…htm at home and the T20's are not far of the same quality.

I have the Logitech 5.1's and must say they are good compared to more expensive set ups , the only negatives are too much bass (even at minimum setting), interference with radio and light switches (POP!) and untidy cabling. Looking to replace with a wireless set up (especially for rear speakers) Any suggestions for under £150? Cheers

light switches (POP!) Cheers

You have a very good point there - completely forgot about that - I thought it was just my set of Labtecs that did that
