I have s pair of slip on for my regular office use.
I use them for my afternoon walk everyday about 2 miles.....
Nearly 2 years, they witnessed rain, snow and sun still going strong...

Nothing tests a shoe like kids!

And my yet my dd’s are lasting very well and am going to get some more as they do fit better than supermarkets. (To even out your opinion I thought I would put mine )

I have lots of Clarks shoes and never had a problem. Yes, they are overpriced at RRP so just buy in the sale like these (or at Clarks outlet).

There, that wasn't so hard, was it?

They are.
My sons Clark shoes last the school year if not outgrown.
On the odd occasion over the years I’v bought the supermarket leather ones they’ve never lasted. The quality no where near as good.
I usually buy them in the sales or outlet so works out really good value.

The shoes I purchased at the beginning of this sale have gone down further. They were originally £40. I bought them for £20 2 weeks ago, but they’re now £16. I bought 3 pairs. Wondering whether to return & re-buy!

P..S Quidco is giving 6% Cashback at Clark’s at the mo (TopCashback 3%)

Disagree. Tried school shoes from every supermarket. Even Marks and next but only Clarks last.
This sale is online & in-store too, so it will be worth having a look in-store if you're out and about!

I bought some kids boys shoes from Sainsbury's once and they lasted about a month. I always stick to Clarks now for my sons shoes. The girls shoes at Clarks are rubbish though and don't seem designed for girls who actually want to run and play. I now buy my daughter Dr Martens (boots or shoes) and they last the full year.

Also you don’t get the service anywhere else for proper fitting and a range of different widths to suit different shape feet. Always bought school shoes for my son and only ever had to replace due to outgrowing.

110% agree.
Quick tip - you should NEVER buy a pair of Clarks at full price. Stores run promotions virtually every other week!!
My favourite time of the year
Looking for a pair of nice comfy shoes/sneakers but nothing fits the bill here
Pathetic. Ordered sale items this morning (5 different pairs of shoes) only for my order to be cancelled (everything) this evening. Out of stock! Good luck! Cold for me!!

Ermm nope.

Got pair from Next for first time, a week later sole came off and were only worn after school.
Got very similar Clarks style, it's all stitched around the edge unlike glued Next so going fine for past 1.5 months.
You get what you pay for.

Clarks shoes last the whole school year, and have done for past six years. They take a hell of a beating but are only ever replaced due to being outgrown.

I've always bought my children school shoes from Clarks. My youngest son who is 11 has extremely narrow feet - Clarks have said a 'D' width fitting but they don't stock that width in my local store, so I go for the 'E' fitting instead. As far as I know, the supermarkets, etc, sell only the standard width, or maybe a wide fitting as well (F) so I wouldn't buy those or they wouldn't be a snug enough fit on his feet (in the width). However, I have never paid out the full price for a pair of shoes from Clarks - I always pick them up at sale prices or cheaper from other on-line retailers (ie shoesforkids or Charles Clinkard). In all of the years that my children have worn them, none of have ever come apart, etc, and they have lasted really well - my youngest son's shoes last for nearly a whole school year.
If anyone has a Clark’s outlet nearby, school shoes there are almost always included in the buy-one-get-one-free (or £5 depending on the season!). I’ve previously bought school shoes for as little as £10, or £15 for two pairs!! It’s definitely worth a look as this makes them far cheaper than supermarkets and they do last longer as well.
Hot hot
They are definitely not as good as they used to be but when they are on big sale discount they are worth it.
Brilliant spot by OP. Much thanks and another half price pair of shoes for work bought- absolute bargain and my Clarks standard black leather types always last for ages, nice wide fitting and my only choice for comfort at work.
Thanks and heat added.

You are welcome!
Thanks so much just bought school shoes for my daughter for a bargain £14!
cheers! new school shoes required for son. Great price!
Not impressed - received an order cancelled email within 1 min of placing order. Suspect the company are
a) incompetent
b) trying to get people to register with false sale items
To be fair they are probably both.....

Lol, and you know this how? Are you involved in the manufacturing process of every supermarket and next?
My problem is they are quite small and I need a size 12.

And my feet are small for man. So never a big selection.
Check out the recent reports on BBC Watchdog before you buy any of Clarks overpriced junk!

Kids' shoes - overpriced but OK (because they grow out of them before the shoes disintegrate). Adults' shoes - forget it unless you like shoes that fall apart all on their own, even if they're not used.
