Free calls? On Pay As You Go? We kid you not. You don't have to be a Pay Monthly customer to pick up big perks. At Virgin Mobile, we believe in rewarding all our customers, no matter how they pay.

Right now, you can buy any Pay As You Go phone and we'll give you up to £70 free calls. That's 200 minutes to use to any UK network, any day, any time. It's that simple.

Go via Quidco for £8 cash back. This means you can buy a PAUG phone with £70 credit for £12.

Although you have to call other mobiles to use the 200 minutes - not landlines, so not quite as good as it looks

Think you're reading the deal incorrectly - Barnehurst

The asterix is there to justify their claim of £70 (200 mins at their x-net rate of 35p a min) - you can call landlines but it would be worth far less than £70

100 mins a month for 2 months.

Thanks for the heads up lkl265

I was excited when heard about this offer only to find that they r now claiming as "£70 worth calls" instead of the usual "200 mins" with every PAYG' handset.

It's not £70 credit.

You forgot £2.99 delivery. ;-)

remainder of 100 min first month WILL ROLL OVER into next month

Any credit from second month WILL NOT ROLL OVER into next month

Still an excellent deal though...........

i.e. a Nokia 2310 with headset for only £20! (after quidco and minus delivery with an additional 200 minute FREE!)

You are right. I should have said free call allowance worth up to £70.
I didn't realise they charge £2.99 for P&P.

Bought one yesterday - as a present - it was only £15 in the Virgin store for Nokia 1112. Got the two hundred mins and there's £5 on the SIM - will register the SIM and get another couple of quid.

it is a good deal for the 200mins i have been using one for a month now. but i ended up with an extra couple which i cant use. they do need activating by the 31st October. Take a look at my other post about the 200 mins

If anyone wants a phone from Virgin, as an existing customer you get a discount of £10 online, or £5 Instore.

There phones are overpriced, so only worth it for their 'Budget' phones.
