Edited by: "SupremeJaguar" 31st Dec 2015

Same apps over and over again cos there are not any more apps

Thanks, I foresee my phone becoming even more full I guess you 'buy' them they will be linked to your account, so you don't have to install them all?

Cheers bud!

Correct!

Am I correct that these aren't available for iPhones?

Kudos on the lazy links Bought the lot. They are going to have to give you a second VIP badge at this rate

Most have been free previously, but heat for the few that are new.

Thanks op

20 of the 32 apps (not 33 - one is the normal Free App of the Day - 31st's is Pho.To Lab Pro - cheekily already free on 27 Jun 2014) have been free in the Amazon Appstore previously. Yes, this includes AVG Antivirus Pro mentioned in the OP, which was free on 13 Oct 2014.

You'll need to sideload the Amazon appstore app on one of your Android devices first and log into your Amazon account from inside the app. This ensures you have at least one device registered against your account. After that, it's quicker to "buy" these via the amazon.co.uk site first (on anything, inc. desktops/laptops), then use the Android Amazon appstore app at a later date to download, install and run the apps themselves.

Never noticed that for free! I'm sure many others haven't too
Now's their chance to purchase it

I've that to the OP. Thanks

Why can't Google and Amazon allow people without Android devices to purchase the apps to use later when they have the devices in future. Apple allow purchasing free apps without owning an Apple device so you can save the apps for later use.

Have you got a friend who has an android phone and the Amazon app store installed? If so, ask them if they could sign out of the app, then you sign in using your Amazon credentials, 'buy' a free app using the app store. Once downloaded, you can click cancel so that it doesn't install on the phone and sign out of the app.

You will now be able to get all the free apps via the Amazon web site in the future.

thanks have grabbed a few from the website that might not ever make it to the phone but you never know.

Ah thanks for the info. I didn't know it needed just a one time sign-in.

Thanks op

Cheers good spot

Might and Magic - Clash of heroes is an awesome game. Takes a while to get into but once you do you will be hooked. Was critically acclaimed on consoles and handhelds.

I got the last lot of them on my Blackberry Z10. Thanks for the heads up.

Another route might be an Android emulator (e.g. the one in the Android SDK, Bluestacks, Andyroid etc - Google for "android emulator") - sideload the Amazon appstore apk into that, login to your Amazon account from the app once and then use the amazon.co.uk Web site from any machine to 'buy' the free apps.

BTW, I don't think you can buy (or download/install) iOS apps from their iTunes Web interface - I think you have to install and run the iTunes app (you can possibly also do this from Windows, but I use Linux, so I'm locked out by Apple). The fact that Google and Amazon let you do your app purchases (with Google adding download/install to that too) via a Web interface as well as an application is a massive plus in my books and something Apple has utterly dismally failed to do from day one of iTunes.

Most have been free before, some new ones. Everyone should get Thomas was alone if they haven't already. Class stuff!

My 2 comments are that you don't have to wait for apps to finish downloading on your device to cancel. You can now cancel mid download.

My 2nd comment is that avg had been free before, but this version is version 3. Version 4 is available for kindle devices only (might even be fire phone only) on the Amazon store - I asked Amazon about it and they said ask avg, and avg say they're working with Amazon to get the newer version up. But then, that was months ago.

Mostly same old same old. Got Thomas was Alone but the rest have mostly been free before. Heat for the post but don't know how many more times these can be 'free'

Fantastic, thanks. AVG Pro now for free ...

Why not on iPhones? They are the best phones after all.

Because primarily it's an App Store for the (no longer branded Kindle) Fire devices. Which are Android derived.

And I know of no other Apple app stores which work without jailbreaking your device (happy to be corrected).
