There's currently a sale (up to 77%) on Aliens comics over on ComiXology.

Individual issues are 69p each, whilst graphic novels are £1.99 each.

I've gone for the big Omnibus editions, as there's more pages for your bucks, and I'm always a sucker for the Dark Horse omnibuses - their Indiana Jones ones are particularly good.

Anyway, sale ends 30th April.

Nice! Shame the Omnibus editions have been colourised though - the original black and white is much more in keeping with the tone.

Doesn't look like it, here's what the site says:

Ways to Read
Hmmm I don't need them at all, but very tempting at that price. Always enjoyed the original Omnibus, but never got any further for some reason.

They're digital for reading on your tablet or PC via the ComiXology app.

I'm a collector of (physical) comic books, have been for many years, and I am a huge fan of ComiXology and digital comic books. Whilst they don't hold a candle to real life, honest to goodness comic books, they can be a relatively inexpensive way to get into series that you might not buy at your local comic shop, or to fill gaps in your collection that you'd otherwise never fill as the books themselves command high prices on eBay, etc.

That, and I can carry hundreds of comics on my iPad and while away the hours reading, and sipping expensive coffees at Starbucks.

@HugoLuca there's a bit more information here:

comixology.co.uk/new…ogy

The Guided View is great on smaller devices, and if you're new to comic books and not quite sure which panel to read next, particularly if the page is busy.
Can anyone recommend the must have Alien comics here please.
Start with the original mark v and mark a nelson / Denis b ones. That’s the 89-91 issues. They have been renamed but the oldest 2 series originally followed aliens and the 3rd is worth reading.

Great thanks for this.

Been waiting for Aliens Dead Orbit to go on sale since it was released. It won a number of awards including IGN’s best limited series of 2017. Well worth £1.99.

As others mentioned, a great way to experience these in my opinion is to read using guided view, which looks great on an iPad. However most comics you buy from ComiXology can also be downloaded in CBZ and PDF format. It’s found under the Backup tab on the My Books section.

Also, for new users or others that have not used it yet, the code READCOMICS still gives 15% off.

One time use per account though.
