I see what you mean ..Recently Sony Ericsson sued one company over the their logo, even though theirs wasn't even similer.

Thanks for the post, jusrt what I need.

Off topic much lol. What sort of quality are these then? Any good?

We've used them several times and they are excellent. However, the prices have rocketed in the last year or so. A pair of rimless specs cost me £60 last year but now the same ones (Wind) are £99 + coatings. Not the bargain site they once were but still cheaper than the high street. I now use another on line site.

I now use glasses4eyes, which are also very good. They have a factory shop in Yorkshire and are a legitimate company (plus 10% quidco cashback).

I share your concerns though. I checked one out recently that were too cheap to be true. They advertised rimless glasses at just over £30 and badge themselves as a UK company on their website. However, when you enter their address on google street map, you can see that their "office" is actually a hosting company, which is just a front for a business based abroad. Further googling found many unhappy customers and a shoddy or non-existent customer service.

Me and most of my family use selectspecs.com. They are shipped from Hong Kong or somewhere similar and take about 7-10 days to arrive but for the price, I don't think they can be beaten.

If you access via this URL you can get some frames cheaper:

selectspecs.com/che…es/

Some of those are a bit 'Chris Evans' but there's a huge range of other stuff - still cheap.

I got a pair with thin lenses and all the coatings, delivered for less than a tenner!

anyone bought this deal and not gonna use it? i missed out, its now sold out!! il buy a code off someone??
