Sounds perfect - in the sale.
Good time to use the £10 Maplin voucher that a number of us received after purchasing a WD My Passport 4TB portable HDD recently.
Wonder if you can use multiple £5 vouchers when you go to purchase

Hmm, how/where do I redeem the £10 voucher online? It only seems to accept numbers for a "gift card"...

Good question. Wasn't looking to place an order but just for you I did a dummy run and tried using my £10 voucher code in the promotional code box during checkout but it wouldn't accept it. Then went to the next step and tried entering it in the gift card box but that only accepts numbers not letters as well (the voucher code is a combination of the two).

Bit rubbish, I must say. It clearly states this code can be used online as well as in store and mail order.

Guess, you'll need to contact Maplin by phone or email.
Yeah, totally stumped as to where to use the code. Bit miffed if I can't use the £10 but yes, will call them tomorrow morning and hopefully sort it out...
Just another two days left of this offer (ends 6th Dec 2017).
Struggling to find something to purchase close to £10 in order to earn a £5 voucher and also use the previous £10 voucher.

Anyone spotted something that is good value?
I was trying to get some spare cables - ethernet etc, gold plated HDMIs or headphones. They still haven't updated the website for using it but you can call up to place the order I believe
Wow they are getting desperate for business....

Your guess is as good as mine. HUKD software is about 10 years old now!

This 'deal' seems to have been updated...............

Yep I read this yesterday. They are in big trouble. I find many people don't even realise they are still around....I never buy from them unless they are clearing something out.
Bought a Hive system ( self install = easy ) on the Black Friday deals at a cheap price of £110 with a free £10 voucher , this got me a reduced Hive Active bulb (£10) along with another free £5 voucher ...hoping some price reductions on socket / camera
I've tried hard and can't find anything worth buying.
I reserved something online that my brother picked up. They didn't honour it as it wasn't purchased only reserved online. It would seem the pay in store is a get out clause especially in their Stratford London branch.

I purchased online to collect instore only to be told by the staff that you can only reserve online to pay store when you collect. opposite of you!

Manager mucked about by refunding and reselling but I did get the voucher.

Phoned Customer Service to complain and they were pathetic.

Poor show Maplins.

Unlikely. In retrospect, the reason is far simpler: merging of deals following the merchant revising deal date expiry / applicability. Latest example at time of this post of merchant revising deal date applicabliity post-Xmas at archive.is/HnwrS
Had a hard time getting these but rang customer service and they stepped in and honoured it. I wanted to do three separate transactions and get three vouchers. They wouldn’t do it and wouldn’t let me use NUS discount or use a voucher with a price match.
Oh well. I guess that will bring the price down on whatever you buy to something reasonable. Probably something close to a Chinese website from a Chinese vendor which Maplin is probably drop-shipping from some far-Eastern warehouse depot.
Make sure you spend any and all Maplin vouchers you may have, if you were unlucky enough to get a gift card for Christmas. They are going under, creditors are not giving them credit any more.

Their CEO Oliver Meakin has quit this week, a sure sign the business is sunk.

I totally forgot about this and didn't use my gift card (did everyone else get it as a gift card, or just a slip of paper??)

Is it too late to use it? If the promo is going on til the 16th now?
I bought something from Maplin on the 9th, actually hoping to get a £10 vouchercloud voucher, but my work PC blocked the link, so lost that chance. I bought anyway, but did receive a £5 voucher attached (separate slip of paper to the receipt).

This voucher is valid for four weeks, but is only if spending over £50 next time around.

No idea, haha Doesn't seem to mention an expiry date. This is a bit confusing. Really don't want to buy something and then find out the card is invalid
