Slow cookers are fantastic, bags aren't. Let me explain:

Firstly, is it really that hard to clean your slow cooker? I mean, this is pretty much the easiest form of cooking already. Also, it's likely that by heating up plastic over many hours will lead to the leaching of the plastic into your food. Why would you literally want for you (and potentially your family) to consume plastic on a regular basis?

Secondly, nevermind the additional cost of 20 (£5.33). Every £1 invested over a lifetime is worth £20+ (@8% return - US stock market average return after inflation), meaning that each set of bags is stealing £106.60 wealth from your future self if you invested it sensibly in something like a stocks and shares ISA. That's over £5 you're effectively giving to your future self simply by washing a slow cooker. Washing probably takes 2 minutes max. Therefore, unless you earn over £150 per hour, every hour, buying these bags isn't worth it and is stealing wealth from your future self.

Be aware, the inside bowel is made of "pyrex" not the normal non sticky metal. Now we are confused "to keep our return". My wife is looking for the non stick one.
I thought all slow cookers had a ceramic inner bowl . Certainly every one i have seen has.
Non-stick metal is for higher heat, so you will probably need to find one of the multi-function cookers to get a non-stick bowl.

Every slow cooker I've owned has had a ceramic bowl, is it a multi cooker she is wanting?

I bought this one last week hotukdeals.com/dea…194 and it has a metal inner bowl so you can sear food on the hob first. Haven't used it yet. But it is a lot lighter than the Tesco one as I was thinking about returning the Morphy Richards one and buying the Tesco one. However I'm more inclined to keep the Morphy because of the weight issue.

Why do you need a liner for a slow cooker. I have owned a slow cooker for over a decade and I have never had a problem with cleaning, just dip in water and wipe around with a cloth and rinse and dry. Because of the low heat nothing ever sticks and mine is not a top quality product, just a normal high, low keep warm settings.
Heat added
