Lifetime membership to Shaw Academy is currently £26 offering unlimited access to all current and future courses and support materials, and can share membership with others hotukdeals.com/dea…883 No idea how it compares to Udemy.
Yes I think you'll find Udemy a mixed bag because its a free for all, what ever content creators choose gets put on sale. Thats a great model btw, something for everyone.

And often yes these "sales" are not that unique and occur often. But there are courses on there that are incredibly well produced and delivered.

I bought one yesterday for JS and its really good. By a YTer who teaches web development on his channel. Through the video below, it cost £10 through his "special link". Well worth it, only just started but really like it.

This is the preview for the course by the creator -

New student discount—6 hours only!Change your life through learning with courses for £10.99.
The plot thickens........ it then changes to £10.99 when you go to checkout lol..... Make your damn mind up already...
Not a big fan of their content it must be said but always happy to see people improve skills. Lot cheaper than a Pluralsight subscription.
Trustpilot has a fair amount of poor reviews. Check before purchasing.

Normal price seems to be £14.99, but note one reviewer:

I have been put off using this site because it uses pricing pressures. A course was £11.99 for 5 hours, the next day it went to £14.99 (ok fair enough). But as soon as I switch browser from firefox to IE I can see the original cost of £11.99. They use your cookies to put your prices up!

My experience is the same. Open up a new browser and the '5 hour flash sale' timer starts. But looking, at the reviews, I wouldn't part with even £10.99.

I took the Modern React + Redux web development course from here last time they had an offer. Must say it was excellent. I've just bought the Node with React course, thanks OP!

This works for other courses too thanks
Udemy always have a sale on. Either directly or via a promotional code. Some are definitely worthwhile though such as the AWS courses. They're done by the same company that trains staff at my firm, for a much higher price.

AWS is one of the most in-demand qualifications and the Udemy course is solid.

Nope
We have udemy courses at work. I couldn't be arsed to learn all MVC, react or angular, so instead ive spent £200k salary on a couple of programmers to do it for me. I'll stick to SQL, barely changed in last 20 years, just how I like it.

Thanks :-)

FWIW his Android course also includes a JAVA course but your better off with this and that (if your also interested in Android development) because it only covers the basics of Java enough to get you writing simple Android apps were as the Masterclass covers everything.
The Advanced Web Developer Bootcamp £10.99

Brilliant course - Colt Steel rocks

Some good CCNA stuff but avoid Chris Bryant because he is too full of himself and does not reply to questions unless he really has to. David Bombai stuff is good as he covers SDN which others wont cover. Neil Anderson is not bad either

"IT" covers a vast base, even a Masters Degree will only cover a very small area.

For what purpose are you looking to learn?

Thats almost every day, nothing new.
Udemy has mixed content, some good, some not so much.
This is not a deal, this price is typical, only a fool pays full price on udemy when they have offer every day.
Not voting either way.

Ive seen "The Complete Web Developer in 2018: Zero to Mastery" & "The Web Developer Bootcamp "

Also, are the CCNA courses any good?

I wonder if the web developer course teaches you how to do that with cookies!

Most of the ones that appear when you search for AWS. You'd want to start with 'AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate 2018' They're all done by 'A Cloud Guru'.

Going to be doing a lot of reading for CCNA either way BTW take a look at GNS3 for Cisco router & switch emulation for CCNA labs.
Does anyone know which of these would be best?
One has more content, but the other suggests it is up to date. (2018)

Yesterday it was £10.99 if you bought within 6 hours, today it's the same price but only for 5 hours.
I think someone has said they always have a sale on and it looks that way.

What is the normal price, I assume it's not £ 199.99?
use a US VPN and get it for $10.99, they never adjust currency differences
