Relive one of the most acclaimed RPGs of all time in Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age for PS4. Become embroiled in an era of war as you explore the world of Ivalice. Take on the role of Vaan, a young orphan of war, whose only dream is to take command of a flying ship and be free amongst the clouds. A chance meeting with Princess Ashe sees Vaan caught up in an attempt to liberate the kingdom of Dalmasca from the grip of Archadian rule. To bring the peace and freedom Vaan longs for, he must fight.

New ways to play

This HD remaster will not only feature richer, crisper visuals, it will also introduce a rework of some of the base game, including an overhaul of game difficulty. The notorious difficulty curve of the original release should be much smoother for this remastered RPG. Additionally, moving through the world is less of a chore, thanks to the ability to speed things up. Simply hold a button down and your character will move faster, so all that backtracking won't sting quite as much. An autosave system will also make sure you aren't forced to needlessly play through a tough area if you come up against a foe that wipes your party, and an all-new guide system should also ease new players in.

Get a job

Use the brand-new job system to allocate skills and spec out distinct builds with your characters. Take on a variety of job roles, including the Black Mage, White Mage, Paladin, Monk, Archer, Knight, Red Mage, Dragoon and more. This system allows for more flexibility with the ability to create different characters.

This grand adventure won't be just as you remember; it will be the same gripping story, the same great characters and the same fascinating world, but the gameplay experience has been reworked from the ground up to ensure it is the most fun to play version. This is the definitive Final Fantasy XII experience on PlayStation 4.

Nice price, don't think you get the T-shirt though as that was a pre-order incentive. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I let you know when i collect mine tomorrow.
£12 for hundreds of hours of gameplay. Cant go wrong. Already have 3 stellbook versions sealed will buy this to play. Thanks op
I got this for £15 just before Xmas. Was kinda enjoying it but the voice acting was so bad it put me off paying much attention.

Also with the gambit system, I had a set up where the game basically played it's self. Target nearest foe, perform X attack, heal at Y health and so on.
I ended up selling it after 20 hours or so.

Much prefer turn based over these reinnervating the wheel.
Awesome deal can't wait to play missed back on
Amazing find cheapest it's been surely as I've been waiting to bite at this kind of price point. Thanks for sharing
Ordered! Thanks!
Very good price, I've been resisting this for a while but can't imagine it will drop anymore than this so have C&C it. Damn you hotdeals!
Great game ! Have the platinum and it was fun to play from the beginning until the end.
The 4x speed multiplier is an absolute god send. I never finished the original PS2 release as I found it all a bit too slow but managed to blitz through this in about 40 hours and found it well worth it!

Funnily enough I actually bought the original version on PS2 for £12 and giggled about the price at the time, it wasn't that long after release but was pre-owned, unfortunately never got around to playing it at the time.... this time round though!
Totally worth it. Got this and £14 ages ago and well got my moneys worth out of it. Enjoy Tiamat
I was always going to get this as some point and I have a £9 voucher so may as well.

Did you try switching to Japanese voices? I always find they're much better. Also, the more you play, the less you rely on the Gambit system How far did you get? I'm playing it now (again) and I'm loving it!

I hadn't tried switching the voices. I found myself messing about on my phone each cut scene instead. ><

I can't remember how far in I got. I remember doing some mines I believe. I was a few hours after that.
Might get this again for the tshirt.
Is this better than FF15? Because I'm really not getting on with that. Not a fan of the characters.
Great price! Worth it just for the spectacular fight with Yiazmat.
Does this come with the T-shirt?

I'm like this. It's both great and exasperating.

I've set up an 'unplayed games' folder on my PS4 xmb, so I don't forget to play them. It feels like a chore at times, especially when ps plus drops another couple onto the pile every month.
It's a beast of a game. Buying it again (even at this low price) would mean I would be forced to complete it again and I just don't have the patience anymore, I don't think.

If you've got the time and the energy, it's a fantastic game, but you will easily put 100 hours into this if you do all of the hunts.
