Depends on how the prices are at that particular time, prices fluctuate month by month, and if that is the cheapest price at that particular time, then there's no reason it shouldn't be a hot price.HUKD is based on current "hot" prices, not based on whether the price was better 3 months ago, or whether it will be better in 3 months time

I do not agree. Pot Noodle inflated price is £1. Often it is priced at 50p/49p.
If this 50p/49p deal is not available, I would never regard £1 as a hot price or even a good deal, if it were the only price available.
If I were to buy this junk, I would wait until the price returned to 50p/49p.

I do not agree the current lowest price can be regarded as a hot deal. It is merely the current deal.
The term "hot deal" implies a very good deal i.e. a good reduction from the standard price.
£1 Pot Noodle can never qualify as a hot deal, in my view.

I extrapolate this view to phones.
You are free to disagree with my view. I will not agree with your view of a current price always qualifying as hot.
If you do, then post every price of every product sold at RRP (everywhere) claiming it is "hot" as opposed to the standard price.
This would be illogical, and lack any common sense!

Got myself a Galaxy S8 for 261.99, Condition of the set is excellent without any mark .. only downside is no original box and accessories, just a charging cable. Whats your say @Mrswitch

Yes, it was unlocked and the deal was only on for one day. It was posted on this site.
The screen somehow cracked within 2 week and the phone was not dropped! These are fragile phones.
Good old Nationwide repair for £25 + P&P (so £27.50).

Nationwide, is that a repair under their insurance or a reputable repairer?

You post it to their repairer. They return in 2 days. Super quick and efficient. I cannot fault them (except they make you pay for the postage to them).
The Huawei Y7 2017 listed above is in fact the Huawei Y7 2018 according to the specs on the eBay page.

Use the date and price as an indication of whether a future or current deal is good.
This is what camelcamelcamel does for Amazon.

This site should do the same for deals and call it hothothot.co.uk

So any Samsung S9 deal over £353 new, or under this price graded, is a dud, because o2 had the phone on "Special offer" for a week in December?

So with your theory, nobody should ever by a phone?

I would not consider a new one a hot deal if more than £353. You may consider it an acceptable deal, but never "hot", or a great deal as the price was £353 less than 3 months ago. Would you call £499 hot? Let me guess, by Easter it will be £350-£400 new.

But instead of this turning into some kind of all night discussion /argument.

All I will say is, let's just agree to disagree.

Good night sir!
Fab bit of deal hunting work @Mrswitch

Nearly all of the good ones have sold out, since you posted this, but there is still some rubbish left, if anyone wants a new old new iphone x!!!
Has anyone's order been dispatched yet?
I’d really like to buy one of those Huawei P Smart at this price. 16 GB ROM is not enough any more. Bought Huawei 7A recently from Argos and it had only 4 GB space left after the OEM software and upgrades.
