Tesco have released their new set of Price Flop codes (thanks to tony98 - MSE):

NOTE - wys = when you spend

Next Tesco Price Flop booklet 16/5/12-27/5/12 includes these money off coupons-
Cakes ( excl chilled) £1 off wys £3 GRNNTY
Fresh salads £1 off wys £4 GR7M7P
Fresh Bakery £1 off wys £3 ( Chilled cakes not included) GRJJWY
Foils,Trays,Cling Film,Food & Freezer Bags ( Excl value range) £1 off wys £4 GRLLPT
Ice cream & Lollies £2 off wys £6 GRTYHM
Fresh Pastry £1 off wys £3 GRFFTH
Flora Spread £1 off wys £3 GRHTYX
Baby products(exclusions apply clothing, milk and non food nursery items) £1 off £10 GRXLFJ (thanks to superspod for correction).
Fresh Berries £1 off wys £4 GRYKYK
Fresh citrus fruit £1 off wys £3 GR4RL7
Fresh Fruit (excl frozen and dried and nuts) £1 off wys £5 GRXJFF
Standard Quiche (excl finest and value) 50p off GRTTYT
Grab 2 Go Cereal Snack Multipacks 50p off GRPPJD
Root Vegetables & Onions £1 off wys £3 GRF7HP
Freah apples & pears £1 off wys £3 GRT47Y
Fresh cauliflower,cabbage,sprouts & broccoli £1 off wys £3 GRKRYR
Fresh mushrooms £1 off wys £3 GRLHHF
Fresh vegetables £1 off wys £4 GRH7YY
Freah flowers £1 off wys £10 GRL4NF
Meat Counter £2 off wys £7 GRJJKT

These codes can be stacked and some of the offers overlap, e.g. buying £3 worth of citrus fruits and £3 worth of apples and pears gives you £2 off but you can also use the fresh fruit coupon (£1 off wys £5); so you can get £3 off when you buy £6 worth of fruit. The same can be done with the vegetable coupons.

The codes are valid from 16/5/12; so make sure you choose a delivery day from this date, otherwise the coupons won't work! ********EDIT: this is no longer the case! It turns out that the codes are valid from now on online shops (thanks to Hiddenidenity - MSE).

Please see below for an updated 'hypothetical' shop.***********

Also, the online price flop coupons take into account the price of the item before any special offer deductions; so for example, if bags of apples cost £1.50 each and they are on offer 'buy 2 for £2', then put 2 in your basket. Total is £3 before any special offers are taken into account; £1 is then deducted for the original offer and then a further £1 is taken off when you enter the coupon at the checkout. So you get 2 bags of apples for £1. Note: this does not work with half price offers, a third off offers etc. It only works with BOGOF, buy 2 for £x, buy 3 for £x offers etc.

Register as a new customer first on the Tesco website, then go via the Quidco link to get a code for £10 off when you spend £50. Quidco/Tesco also give you £5 cashback (they've always paid out for me and I think they're very reliable). Remember, a new customer can be anyone in your household who hasn't shopped with Tesco before.

So to summarise, buy £50 worth of selected grocery items to maximise the price flop coupons; this allows you to get upto £19ish off your shop. Then get £10 off for being a new customer and then get £5 cashback via Quidco in a couple of months.

********Here is my OLD hypothetical shop:*************

1 x Flora Buttery 1Kg
4 x Fresh And Naked Mixed Little Leaves 90G
1 x 1kg Counter Pork Boneless Leg
2 x Braeburn Apple Pack
3 x Sliced Mushrooms 250G
3 x Tesco Everyday Value Broccoli Catchweight
3 x Tesco Parsnips Pack 600G
2 x Tesco Organic Raspberry
6 x Tesco Everyday Value Orange Pack
2 x Tesco Unbleached Non-Stick Baking Paper 8M
1 x Smartt Plastic Food Containers Tubz (650Ml) 8Pk
3 x Tesco Strawberry And Vanilla Jumbo Swiss Roll
8 x Single Panini
4 x Tesco Caramella 270Ml

TOTAL - £45.48

Then add £4.52+ worth of groceries that you need to get the total to £50ish.

------------------------

***********Here is my NEW hypothetical shop:************

1 x 1kg Counter Pork Boneless Leg
3 x Sliced Mushrooms 250G
3 x Tesco Everyday Value Cabbage
1 x Tesco Broccoli 335G
2 x Pears Pack Class 1
1 x Carrots 1.2Kg Class I Pack
1 x Tesco Parsnips Pack 600G
1 x Shallots Onions 300G Class 2

1 x Smartt Plastic Food Containers Tubz (650Ml) 8Pk
8 x Single Panini
4 x Mcvities Galaxy Caramel Cake Bars 5 Pack

TOTAL - £41.70

Then add £8.30+ worth of groceries that you need to get the total to £50ish.

****************************

So as you can see, I have changed some of the items to maximise on any current offers (e.g. the Flora, the cakes etc.). The shop gives more variety of groceries and a couple of extra items. As a result, my new hypothetical shop is £3.78 cheaper than my last shop; which means you have the opportunity to buy more grocery items to get your shop up to £50 (if necessary).

****************************

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
***UPDATE***

The Flora spread and cake cars are no longer on a decent offer. 2 new offers have emerged today:

Mr Kipling Viennese Whirls 6 Pack - £1.30 and BOGOF. Therefore buy 4 packs for £2.60 and get £1 deducted using price flop code = £1.60 for 4 packs (and that's not countering in the £10 off or £5 cashback).

Tesco Cheese And Onion Quiche 400G - WAS £2.20 and NOW £1.10. Buy 1 pack and get 50p off using price flop code = 60p for a pack.

***UPDATE***
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

The above shop used the following price flop promos:

Cakes ( excl chilled) £1 off wys £3
Fresh salads £1 off wys £4
Fresh Bakery £1 off wys £3
Foils,Trays,Cling Film,Food & Freezer Bags ( Excl value range) £1 off wys £4
Ice cream & Lollies £2 off wys £6
Flora Spread £1 off wys £3
Fresh Berries £1 off wys £4
Fresh citrus fruit £1 off wys
Fresh Fruit (excl frozen and dried and nuts) £1 off wys £5
Root Vegetables & Onions £1 off wys £3
Freah apples & pears £1 off wys £3
Fresh cauliflower,cabbage,sprouts & broccoli £1 off wys £3
Fresh mushrooms £1 off wys £3
Fresh vegetables £1 off wys £4
Meat Counter £2 off wys £7

SO........

.....total £50ish then add £2 for collection or £3 for delivery.

Deduct £17 for price flop coupons.
Deduct £10 for being a new customer and spending £50 or more.
Deduct £5 for cashback via Quidco

TOTAL £18ish plus collection/delivery price.

Remember that offers will change in a few days, so there will be more offers that we can experiment with. And remember the important point, the online price flop coupons take into account the price of the item before any special offer deductions. Let's hope for some good BOGOF offers!

I just did the above in 30 minutes or so....think it's a pretty decent shop for £18.

If we work together to find items that are on offer and allow us to use the price flop codes then this could be a great deal!

quidco.com/tes…?ac

£5.05 cashback from Topcashback for first time Tesco grocery orders.

Topcashback does not charge a £5 yearly subscription like rip off Quidco does either

Just waiting for the '£50 worth of groceries at Tesco is £25 at Aldi' comments. I would agree to a certain extent, but I highly doubt you'd be able to get the example shop above for £21 delivered to your door.

This is from my hypothetical shop:

Deduct £5 Quidco/Tesco cashback.

well done,heat added

too much hassle but good deal

Heat added, nice job!

i wonder how many people will 100% copy your hypothetical shop.

approx 30 quid saving for 30 minutes work. You must earn well to think that's you much hassle. Wish I was paid over £60 per hour...

Heat added.

Too much of a headache and buying stuff you don't need. But heat for the thread someone will find it useful..

Yes, kinda. This can be done instore, but from 16/5/12.

But you won't have the £10 off as a new customer or £5 cashback. You may have conditional spend coupons though; these can be used with the price flop coupons.

If this were genuinely cheap then you can 100% understand why you had paid their normal over the last ten years!

Good deal and great effort on your post!

Way too much like hard work for me. I wouldn't waste my time scrambling around trying to save a few quid on rubbish that I probably wouldn't buy in the first place.

Good deal , however if u have gone through quidco before u won't get cashback the second time .

@Gball - Yeah all that fruit and veg is rubbish, i'll be sure to let you know when the lard and chocolate offers come up.

I've done this 3 times (previous offers) with new household memebrs; on the same Quidco account. Got paid on all 3 occasions.

Not all deals posted on HUKD are to everyone's liking; that's fair enough.

But I think this deal will suit many people AND it makes a change to have some decent offers on fruit and veg.

Extreme couponing and extreme post (must have take you over an hour to type that!)

Extreme heat added!

Not going to try all that new customer nonsense, but thanks for the codes.

what is "wys" short for?

You have spent some time working out. You cant count cashback 100% of time, sojust to be awares. This also only a deal if you require all of these products as well. Not voting
