If you don't already have a Sky+ HD box you can upgrade your old Sky or Sky+ box to a brand new Sky+ HD box for free. Subject to taking out Sky's HD Pack at £10.25 per month for a minimum of 12 months. And for a limited time a generous £70 Topcashback is also available.

In most cases installation should be free of charge. Furthermore taking out this deal will extend your warranty, including free engineer call outs and box replacements, for a period of 12 months.

If you are "deal rider" like myself though remember to get your "cancellation threat" in first before taking out this deal!

Sky+ HD 1Tb box also available for £99.

Come on £54 after cashback for a brand new box, brand new warranty and 12 monthd HD viewing is surely a decent deal?

You can even get your cancellation threat in beforehand and get an extra 25% / 50% off your subscription as well.

Can you do this if you have a Sky HD and a Sky+ box but no HD subscription?

If you have an old style non HD box spare you could ring Sky and pair your card to that and maybe the deal would then show up in your account? I would be interested to know if this works.....
i went through quidco and sky refused to pay out the cashback on this upgrade.

Any reason why?
I did this last year, I had a free HD box, £100 M&S vouchers and £10 quidco. So basically got the box and 12 months HD for £10 and now I have cancelled the HD.

Ermm forgive me if I am wrong, I have had a drink now but if I have read this correctly on the link you have provided it's actually £10.25 extra a month so an extra £123 a year not £124. Not that £1 makes a difference. And thats on top of whatever you are currently paying, which undoubtedly will be more again. So whichever way you cut it the deal ain't as you put it £124 a year, it will be considerably more. Cold for deal and cold for maths lol
