On top of the mandatory (to a degree) Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus. I'm not really sure how a £130 a year, one publisher focused subscription really fits in, if at all? In comparison EA Access is currently £19.99 a year, £3.99 a month.

It's too expensive in my opinion, but I totally appreciate it's a choice we have, take it or leave it, and on that - I'll be leaving it

Alot more expensive than EA Access
Will this also come to xbox? For me more interesting than game pass (haters gonna hate!) or ea access ...
Already signed up for xbox ultimate (about £3 a month).
I like Ubi games and have quite a few already but this is too expensive on top of everything else

Yeah but sounds like this will also comes with Ultimate editions of all games that have that plus all DLC. If they includes all DLC for previous as well then I can see why it's priced like this. No other subcrisption service that I know of gives you all DLC as well. Saying that I am sick of everyone now coming out with their own subscription model which was a given anyway but still.

"For £14.99/month, you can get unlimited access to more than 100 Ubisoft games" - £180 a year?

Nope

The prob is Ubi games always drop or you can get bundle codes being sold on forums etc. I got the last two Assassins creed codes from forums for well under £20. The Division went cheap as did South Park and Far Cry always does too.

As for DLC then its always poor value for money (a few hours for nearly as much as the base game) so it ought to be free on xbox game pass too.

They need to make some money back on Stadia! At least this way they can sucker early adopters of that into trying it out

Yes, but it gives you access to latest releases and all DLCs compared to over an year old games.

For example, if you plan to buy Ghost Recon breakpoint, it'll be at least £30 even without DLCs. But pay £30 for 2 months and play with all DLCs + all other newest releases.

I like Ubisoft games, but £15 a month for just Ubi games? Might hop in to it for a month for Watchdogs Legion next year. No way am I leaving that sub to run though like Indo gamepass, just getting it for months a game I'm interested in releases.

I may be wrong (ie am) but I get the impression that this product is for all you new Stadia folks, I can't see it succeeding where there is an alternative.
All these game companies doing cloud streaming now. If it wasn’t for the Switch, I’d be so done with games!

I understand that but EA Orgin has the option for new releases too but more expensive, Ubisoft should too offer a cheaper option for the older games
this is gonna flop so hard. most ubisoft games up till now most ppl have already i. cant see myself spending £180 a year on ubisoft games every year

In fairness, I like Ubi games, but I already own the ones I want to play ...
Who signed off on this price the day after the Xbox Ultimate deal for £3 a month went live?

What console ? its just a chromecast dongle no one that dumb to think they will sell out
The end of gaming for me in nigh.... I'm not paying 5 different subscriptions which is the way things are going....
Way way too much for an annual subscription. Many of those 100 games are really old and not worth playing.
However, pay £30 for 2 months for kids over the summer holidays (next year) or if you tend to play and finish with a game within a month. That could be good value.

I don't know what you're saying to me
Overpriced but definitely worth signing up for the trial to rattle through a game or two.

That’s what this deal was about really but folks jumped on and down voted it for the subscription cost, oh well
God even giving people free trail is bad now

I don’t see this as a subscription you keep subbing to for months, it more like something I’d sub to just to try a new game out for a month because it’s the cheaper option to get to play that game at launch.

You sir have understood the intent of my deal - pity the others didn't
This will compete with Origin Access Premier, not Origin Access Basic/ EA Access. Though Origin Premier does offer a cheaper annual option to be fair.
I own almost all the Ubisoft games, same as Origin, useless to me
How is a free trial such a cold deal? This site is absolutely ridiculous these days. Too many people voting based on it not being their preferred platform or because it's a developer/publishers they dislike, rather than the deal itself.

Plus if Buzz had posted this it'd have been in the thousand degree range. SMH

The initial set of voters voted based on the subscription costs and didn't look at it as a freebie, and whilst we'd hate to admit there is a herd mentality at times here when it comes to deals going hot or cold and unfortunately this deal caught the wrong wind.

FWIW we are the only deal site globally where this deal is cold - make what you will of our voting idiosyncrasies
This is equivalent to Origin Premier, which is the same price, with new games coming on the subscription on release like that or Gamepass for Microsoft. It's priced about right for itself, although I wouldn't touch it at that price without a deal, and would only ever go for something like EA Access Basic with a Vault of games and such.

Having said that, the fact this is only on PC, and later Stadia, and is totally ignoring Xbox One or PS4, even at the full fat version, is a mistake, and that might be what causes it to fail. They might have reasons for that, but it's not great for consumers this.

Because regardless of whether is a good deal or not (voting at the top of the page) people like, and are entitled to, give their own opinion on the deal.
I don't want to check a website in which the opinions are all like "great deal" , "amazing", "oh is free..."....I really want to check a website like HUKD in where everyone gives their opinion as to why is hot or cold.

Sure that bit I fully agree with, but if you look here people have given their opinion on Ubisoft's subscription plan for which you pay - and not many have actually said oh wow 30 days of free games - lets make the most of it - and thats what the deal really was for - as I also personally didn't think expecting folks to pay £14.99 a month for some exclusive games cuts it as a deal. Anyhow the vox populi has spoken and nothing we can do about it.
No Idea how a free month of games is so cold. Being thinking about trails rising for a while and now I can play it for free. Great Deal!!!!
Deal is for the free month so should be voted hot. I'm be using it to run through the AC Odyssey DLC which will save me a £20 buying that. Maybe try a bit of Anno 1800

Is it £15? It says 15 euros I guess it may end up being £15. Anyway the price is high something to dip in and out of as new releases come out. Depends how quick you can run through games I guess.

It's not quite the same as gamepass as this includes all DLC. Wish it did as I really want the Forza 4 DLC

Why would Xbox Live Gold and Playstation Plus be mandatory when it clearly specifies it's a PC only subscription service?

Because i pay for Xbox Live Gold on my Xbox and PS+ on my PlayStation 4. I have no interest in buying this as an additional service for my PC.

Also, I think you meant relevant, not mandatory

Nope, because I was referencing your comment.

I understand what you're saying, but it seems like you and the people who upvoted your comment/voted cold are judging this deal by what you think of the subscription service, when really it's a deal for a bunch of free games for a month.

Personally I don't care too much since I don't really like any Ubisoft games, but I wanted to point out that this deal would be hot if it was perceived as "A huge libary of Ubisoft games is free to play in September if you sign up before 15th August"

Well, no - You've assumed that I've voted cold based on my comment which was obviously my personal opinion...

I very rarely vote cold, but as you've seen from my comment, it's not something I would personally class as a deal so I haven't voted it hot, either. People are entitled to though, so they can click the hot button

Also they're mandatory to my situation, but the point you was trying to make to me would require relevance
