Microsoft getting desperate, they are doing this same promotion in the U.S, I think with a different retailer.

EDIT: its actually Microsoft themselves that are offering this in the US

I wonder what they do with the PS3's?

Interesting to witness how creative some retailers are becoming in the effort to try shifting all that Xbox One stock.

Even if you wanted an XBone, this is not a great deal.

The trade-in offer prices are a joke.

Most trade in prices are a joke. How CEX and Game stay in business is worrying and a shame.

Thinking about trading in my SNES

I have an old Xbox 360. How much trade in value would I get for it? I can't find an answer on Amazon?

Pokkai what's wrong with Cex's trade in prices?

people complain about cex/ game trade prices due to the fact they believe it wrong that they make profit on a game.

As long as I keep making profit I dont give a duck

Instead of trolling try looking at the deal, it's a NON deal but you couldn't or didn't want to see that, all Amazon are doing is exactly as they always do and that is offering a trade in price for a 360 or ps3 they are NOT giving you anything else it's just the normal trade.

All they are really only offering is a £20 voucher if you then purchase an Xbox One which is nothing as you can get the Xbox at what they are charging elsewhere anyway.

Your link to the USA started in January 2014 and is nothing to do with Amazons £20 voucher deal, it's also something Sony have done plenty of times in the past.

Well what they offer is a joke, most games are £2-3, then sold for 3 or 4x that. I understand that's business, but it's still exploiting people.

It also damages the private second hand market, but that's another conversation.

Nothing wrong with people using them, it's a choice, but, in my opinion, both companies are a rip off. I love how CEX sell new games, second hand, for more than most internet retailers sell brand new.

I'm sure they would offer you 5p, then it would be on the shelf tomorrow for two and half grand.
