Went to the last 20% off at Merry Hill, bought a laptop, and although it was a good price at £80 cheaper than online, it was miss sold claiming to have a larger battery life than what size battery was in the box. Anyway the worst experience shopping ever for me when trying to get the manager to do something about it instead of being fobbed off. Luckily I persisted and got a refund after he was lieing to me and asking me to come back another day, wrote a complaint letter about the manager to Best Buy head office, would never shop in Best Buy UK ever again, US one has been fine for me so far though.
Great shop, never had an issue there. Staff not grumpy like some electrical retailers
I went in on the last BB 20% sale... and found that a lot of items (of interest to me, anyway) were simply brought into line with every other retailer.

BBUK are very expensive.
any offers on dishwashers?
the key point is "UP TO" last time it was 20% off everything.
got a sony A500 DSLR at £344 last time, have not seen it cheaper anywhere since, not even ebay!

also they have only advertised a few things. so it feels like just a scheme to get you into their stores, with no guarantee of anything else on sale.
So will this be 20% off absolutely everything in store?
i also went into the their last "20% off" weekends, and it was exactly that - 20% off everything (apart from a few Apple related products). Picked up a WDTV Live for about £70.

But, agree that most other products were priced at online prices. Which is also great, as you can buy at online prices (or near enough) and still get to deal with a bricks shop.

I'll be going again...
Went this morning, nothing on offer besides the items listed in the original post.
