nice find op, heat added

Thanks, Henlans.

The Hornby Majestic (E-Link) is showing as £199.99 from £399.99 for me.

Hot cos I always wanted the crane and the turntable as a kid, don't have a train set now, wish I'd kept it.
Great find.

Might grab an R8249 DCC Decoder as it's cheap. Can never have enough of those!

The good ol days of letting kids play with combustion engine trains and gun powder canons

Our generation started the computer games with the likes of Pong, Atari, Commodore 64 & the Sinclair Spectrum. I remember waiting 45 mins to load a tape in my computer whilst listening to the sounds of it screeching whilst loading only for it to crash.

Just bought the Hornby R1138 for my 3 year old. Hope he loves it as much as I would have if my parents could have afforded it when I was a child.

Well, we bought my computer-mad grandson a Hornby train set and he spends ages with it. Certainly gets him away from staring at a screen.

**** didn't know it was ending at midnight, just looking on YouTube at the Majestic set and it's gone back up to £288 from £199

Next time I'll buy it then look at it on YouTube

Sometimes if you had it in your basket you can still get it at the previous price.
