there quite good quality prodcuts

bought a moleskin cotton coat for someone a while back

brilliant stuff

I hate Jane Norman. The stuff is so cheaply manufactured, really not worth even a tenth of its price.
That being said, my friend loves the place... each to their own lol.

I love the place too - though I think the sizes come up a bit small.

Also I've put on a few pounds this year - and it's depressing when I go in there now.

This is first ever comment I have heard against their designs and qualities.
They always fit my body structure..which is NOT fat.

Not that I have seen - free postage would be brilliant!

The sale is in-store too

I shop a lot in Jane Norman and the quality is normally really good. They always last ages. Their coats are excellent and their knitwear. The sizes can be a bit strange, I can be anything from a size 6 to a 12 in there. I am normally a 6-8 on bottom and 8-10 on top, sizes come up small. The only thing I would say about the sale is that last year I bought a coat in sale from £80 to £40 and went in the next week it was down to £22! All stock goes down to 70% off within a few weeks of the sale. So if you don't really need it or love it wait till it goes down again.

Thinking of buying the missus a dressing gown, but smallest size is 'S/M' - will that be too big for a size 8 (~5ft 4in)?

s/m is 8/10 so will be fine

I work in the fashion design/manufacturing industry and from a professional view, their quality is very poor in terms of their fabrics. The mark up is phenomonal.
Sizing is a different thing altogether.

i have to agree that i'm not so keen on their qualiity, bought nice jacket at full price from there last year and after 6weeks of wear looked like i'd had it for 2years!!! never shopped there again.

Really surprised to hear that, half my wardrobe is from Jane Norman. I currently have three coats from there. 1 black, 1 cream and 1 brown. I've had the cream 1 for two years and still looks new, had it dry cleaned 2 or 3 times though. The black and brown one I've had from last year and they are both still looking great and haven't been dry cleaned yet. The only bad thing I have noticed about anything is that the knitwear tends to bobble easily but think that's just the type of fabric. I do think that Warehouse and Oasis are a better quality and not much more expensive.

Well I ordered before 2pm on the 22nd and I am still awaiting my goods!!

There was an iteme I wanted for Christmas and another for tonight!!

I am really disappointed, I bought party wear - not gonna be much use now!
