It's pretty cold with a biting wind where we live, so always on the lookout for decent outdoor clothing / coats for my family, they need something that is not only wind / rain proof but is snow proof too, so tend to buy fleeces / ski wear for them all.

We really rate Dare2b clothing, always find them excellent quality, a decent true to size fit & they wash / wear well plus all products are sold with a 12mth guarantee except their waterproof (ARED) products which are guaranteed for three years!

At the moment they have upto 60% off site wide Plus an upto 80% off Clearance Section with an Extra 20% Off EVERYTHING with code DDEC20

Seems to be working here, maybe type the code in rather than copy / paste, that's what I've just done

Working now. Thanks
Dare2b stuff is massively marked up in RRP anyway so they can run almost constant sales and promotions. I must get at least two emails a week from them about offers and reductions.

To be fair though, I've got a few bits and pieces (including a coat) I use for cycle commuting and whilst I wouldn't pay the listed RRP prices, when you take into account the discounts, it's decent stuff and great value for money.
Lately Luxe jacket is about £5 cheaper than what others are selling it for just to put into perspective.
8% Quidco too

Does showerproof mean it will keep dry in a big downpour??? Kids need a waterproof for school
"There's a biting wind where we live....."

Just tell the Mrs to shut her mouth

Thanks OP, just what I was looking for. Stumbled into Snow and Rock a few months ago and grabbed some great bargains for our ski trips. One of those of fortuitous days where you expect the dregs, but find Poivre Blanc/etc in the kids size @ 70+% off. True to form despite me asking the Mrs a dozen times do we need anything else and her biting my head off, now everything is back at full price she's thought of some extra stuff. As you can imagine now loathed to pay the same for D2B/Tresspass snow pants as I did for a PB all in one etc!

You can wash showerproof coats in Nikwax (no, I don't work for them! ) to make them waterproof. It seems to work really well on the couple of coats I've used it on.

If you can afford Paramo or 66 Degrees North, then bully for you. If you are one of the many living on a budget, just want a cheap rainproof coat or something for the kids to destroy at school then these are actually great value for money. SMH

Nope, I am 'one of you' - I have a dare2b thermal on as we speak. I just know that the prices for brands like dare2b and regatta are so often on offer that these "80%" off price claims are a little bit fictional

Ahh, fair play. My apologies for getting the wrong end of the stick with your post. I do get a bit wound up by the brand snob brigade here

I have a Dare2b waterproof and it performs just as well as a goretex Berghaus I had for many years and that cost me several times as much.

Sorry again for the rant.

I bought a sprayway for over £300 last year and never seemed waterproof from the off even just strolling in general rain, I paid £50 for a D2B from go outdoors and It's incredible... Heat

I got mine from Go Outdoors too and paid about the same. It's performed brilliantly so far.
great... £50 I didn't want to spend! OP I blame you!

D2B is fine, when I got into cycling, I bought a pair of padded shorts.... 4 years later and over 7000 miles later... still holding up well. The comfiest shorts I have too. Sure brand snobbery plays a part but I find D2B stuff to be great quality for the price.
Not a lot of choice in the Ski section Thought I'd get a nice pair of pants for my other half but they're all MASSIVE sizes and he's a bloody rake.. damn it!

Nice find though and I did give heat

no
Daughter heading off to Iceland end of January-school trip, looking for warm waterproof jacket & trousers, would anyone recommend D2B products for there? Working off a tight budget, esp after buying Xmas.
Just purchased 5 of the fleeces which I'll give out to homeless in my town. Thanks Op.
Thanks OP, heat added
