I can't see any particular "deals" on machines over £600 as they appear to be overpriced by 20%+

Care to point us to any you've seen that you feel are a decent deal?

My lappy packed up while on holiday yesterday so I've just been lookin at these online. Not found a discount non refurb that doesn't also say out of stock.

In response to both of the above comments
The Samsung Series 3 Laptop - i5 processor - 6GB memory and 750GB hardrive is £449.97 and a further 10% will be taken off at the checkout, so it is actually around £405, which seems great value for a high spec laptop like this.

Lenovo less desirable than Samsung? Lenovo is the computer business that IBM sold off a few years ago and was then rebranded as Lenovo. I have two so far and I certainly would consider them better than any Samsung laptop I've ever used, so much so that I plan to get a 3rd one. It's certainly the opposite way around with their respective phones but laptop wise most people consider Lenovo to be a top player. Eg.

For the £25 you get quite a lot of extra specification which makes this Curry's deal in my opinion average at best, plus it's Curry's and I'd rather not give them any money.

Samsung is not a desirable brand in the computing world, or any world really.

Never seen a Galaxy S3, S4 or Note then? 1999's calling for you

Meh, I have a HTC One and an iPhone 5, both made of metal instead of plastic.
