LOL, I think you are right about that!
The whole thing about the headphone connector is a bloody mess. Im still using my iPhone 7 Plus at the moment I am sticking to that until a defacto standard is reached lol
These don’t sound great and other than the brand and Lightning connector I can’t see a compelling reason. Might as well just get some better-sounding Anker wireless earphones for less money IMO, compatible with everything and no wires to catch (I don’t miss garrotting myself any more)...
