This looks like a good price for a USB 3.0 HUB. Its the best price i can find for this...unless you know better lol.
Please bear in mind that this is USB 3 speed before you vote.
Also be prepared to wait a few weeks for delivery as it ships from china.

No, it will behave as a 1.0 port.

Right- AFAIK you need a USB 3 spec laptop or pc (or upgrade with a USB 3 card) before this hub is of any use. It will act as a USB 2 adapter in most cases.

For me it is more convenient to have a hub on my desk top rather than trying to connect a USB device around the back of the pc.

A USB 3.0 extension lead would be cheaper.

Probably a normal speed USB hub with a 3.0 sticker on it, if from DealExtreme

This may be of interest to some, I just picked up a Iomega ego 500Gb USB 3.0 portable hard drive from argos for £29.99
It will go well with this hub.
