Depends if you really mean wireless or bluetooth? This is bluetooth, so no, it won't do what I think you are asking.

Also, I had a quick look around and this appears to be the same adapter as sold by various Ebay sellers for around £2, so it doesn't appear to be a good deal at all
BlueTooth dongles start at £1. Do you notneed a simple plug and play wifi one? (BT is slow as a data connection)

Most 'just work', again starting at £1 via ebay.

That's a great help thanks ...I don't have Bluetooth just bt old rout for 8 year

Does it work with the pi ?
People might want to keep in mind that cheap dongles of any kind tend to be crappy in quality leading to issues . You can get a decent Asus one in pc world for about £10 that offers higher bandwidth. I could even reach the toilet to listen to music about 4 5 metres away
Impressive, but where does Bluetooth come into it?

The interference on cheap dongles tend to be shocking (something to be wary of). Wireless mice and tend to be very jumpy

7dayshop used to have good customer service and would give a refund if the item didn't work as described; hav'nt bought of them in a few years so don't know if this is still the case.

£35 is probably the price of a WiFi internal (PCI) card.
I think what you need is a cheap PCI WiFi card - PCWorld, Amazon or eBay etc.
You should find a cheaper one if you look, please note that you will need to open up your PC to fit it.
Alternatively look at USB WiFi dongles which are cheaper and just plug in to the USB socket.

Obviously check that they work for your version of Windows, lots of old ones do not work with Win10.
There are various "flavours" of WiFi - b, g, n, ac, 2.4 / 5 GHz - see what your router supports.
And it may be worth getting a new router from BT (Or a new supplier? Check prices on comparison sites).
Most broadband suppliers provide a free router when you join or to replace a broken one (HINT, HINT).
Get BT support number from internet, turn router off at mains, wait a few hours and call - no there are no lights, yes it's on at the mains.
Could this work to in the USB port in a car, to transmit music from my phone does anyone know?

Depends whether your USB is just to supply power OR whether it is connected to the car's sound system. If you plug in a USB with MP3s on, does the sound system play it?

A "wifi dongle" for a fiver off ebay is surely the easiest way to do this.
eg £6.70 at Curry's link here
Or £6.30 @Argos

100% certain that this will not work. Alternative options are designed for general car use ie. USB powered with 3.5mm connection, or FM transmitter, or directly supported adapters.

Even if it the USB port offers a data connection it won't support this adapter. These cheap dongles require driver installation.

More expensive USB adapters are available and may be work if this is the case, but this one certainly won't.

It's a poor product, at an inflated price, and a very poor deal. It should be ice cold, but hey, what do I know
You can get similar items with Bluetooth 4.0 off eBay for under £2....
Can't leave it stuck at 199 degrees, have some heat
