great if your sat nav or TomTom car charger has broken...just need a usb lead then...

Shame it's only 500ma...for Android users this means if using for SatNav your battery will drain fast than it can charge...Android really needs a 1a charger for the car.

The iPhone 4 also requires 1amp and as you can see it's not listed but the iPad requires 2amps so ive no idea why it's listed as compatible.

this being used for ipad will burn out in minutes because you need 2.1 amps.

Useless for Tomtom also as mentioned because most of their stock ones are 1.5Amps.

Will charge your phone OK if the screen is off etc. But no good if you're using GPS Navigation with screen brightness up and playing music over bluetooth from your phone.

1A car chargers are only a couple of quid on ebay so worth the extra

Aren't all USB 2 ports a maximum of 500mA? Surely it will charge it at the same speed as using a PC.

i have ordered a 2 usb ports from amazon one port 2.1 amp the second port 1 amp.

Thanks, shop_hunter
