USB data cable and charger for iPhone 5/5s/5c.
I have purchased and I can confirm that it works with my iPhone 5. Similar to the ones at Poundland, just in different packaging.

Works for me
Works for,me but get warning message, saying apple unhappy you did not buy one of their over priced cables
Agreed. The bit that connects the mains power supply to this cable NEEDS to be gen, otherwise you could find yourself sporting a new hair style
I bought a branded (unofficial though) cable last week, and although I don't get any warning msg's, it still takes twice as long to charge my iPad with it vs the official cable.
Are you using 7.0.4?
I wonder if they'll block them completely in 7.1.
Heat added (literally)...
Ditto. Not considered a worthwhile purchase. Okay for synchronizing but for charging a definite no. Furthermore noticed that the connector temporarily shorts whilst being plugged into a device which at a guess can cause damage. Don't necessarily agree with paying vast sums of money for genuine cables but in instances where device damage can occur and the cable doesn't charge I'd opt for a genuine cable. Shop around though as prices do vary.
It can damage my phone ??
not worth the money.
And life insurance!
I understand that a pound isn't much to spend, but if you have to buy a new one every month, plus the (apparent) inherent risk with the non-genuine leads, isn't it a false economy?
Good to know Poundland have them though in case you go away for a couple of days and forget yours.
Also, the lead won't cause any fires. It's the dodgy chargers that do that.
Having said that, bought 3 2m cables off eBay and none are able to charge the iPad Air... Trying a few other designs before I even think about forking out £25 for the offical Apple 2m cable that past customers don't think much of.
It's only a usb cable, shouldn't be able to kill you. Unless you get strangled by it...
Me foooked then
