iSmart 2.0 - Charging Made Smarter
Get the most out of your device's recharging capabilities with the iSmart 2.0 technology that detects all connected devices and adjusts the charging output accordingly.
Its Smart Voltage functionality keeps the voltage consistent throughout operation to reduce charging time.

40W & 4 USB Ports
Gone are the days you and your brothers had to take turns on the most conveniently placed power socket. The RP-PC026 lets you charge up to 4 smartphones or tablets simultaneously at maximum speed.

Compact Build & 100-240V Input
Ready for the next family adventure abroad? Bring just one charger for all your portable devices. Benefit from universal compatibility with the 100-240V input the charger comes with.

360°Protection
When it comes to multiple charging, avoid assembling multiple adapters and building up hazardous connections to get the job done faster. Instead, rely on a wall charger that comes with built-in safeguards to prevent overheating, overcharging, and short-circuit to protect both you and your devices.

I don’t know much about them, I just wanted something to charge some head phones.

I didn’t post it as deal because i didn’t know if it was good or not.

It was Amazon choice and under a tenner.

Just making people aware of another option

I'm not a tech guru either but I'm sick of the clutter on our kitchen worktop so would be good to have one smart charger and cables vs a multitude of cables and plugs all dangling out of various sockets.
Thanks

True, these 3/4 USB power adapters are really handy. If you have recent mobile smart phones or tablets i would recommend something with 4A+. If you are going to charge regularly more than 2 devices at once, and you need 'fast charging', i would recommend spend a couple £ more and get something with 8A/40W+ just on the safe side to avoid burning the house down!

Will this work with a lightning cable and ipad? If so does anyone know if it will charge faster, slower or the same as standard ipad charger? Thx.
Does this support Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0?

If your device does have a max voltage of 5V and max current of 2.5A, i believe with the iSmart 2.0 you should get the same/identical speed results.

Actually no need to reply. I hadn't noticed the wattage difference.
I've cancelled the cheaper one and gone for yours. Thanks for posting and help.

if you are charging 2+ devices that 'require' speed charging on a daily basis at once, i would go for this one. will be less strain to the charger.

this does not mean that the other charges (with lower W and A) will not work, but they will be less efficient.
