thx for idea. good for PC freaks like me.

One of the few randomly plugged in devices IT folks won't mind finding on a users desk if it's a warm day, beats a mug warmer any day!

I suspect someone guffing nearby will produce more wind.

Win.

anyone else think the picture is decieving?

height 21cm

Anyone know how noisey this fan is? Thanks!

Should we be voting cool :-)...I've had these before and they tend to be noisy but aren't all cheap things

In my office anyone with something like this would be instantly assumed to be David Brent in disguise, especially if it is noisy.

A bottle of cold water to swig from is considered the non-Brent acceptable alternative.

It's not the height that matters !!8cm wide is reasonable, desirable !!(3 … It's not the height that matters !!8cm wide is reasonable, desirable !!(3 inches)

I'd be dissatisfied with 3 inches.

I'd hate my work place to be something where you can't even have photos on your desk (some of our corporate and Govt clients are like that, working in total silence!)

My desk has a hubsan x4 quad copter to the right on charge, a playbook infront of me, and a bottle of 18yr Talisker 1/3 full next to me, just outside my window there is massive BBQ overlooking the local river. Bloke behind me can't be seen for the amount of Strongbow cans cluttering his desk and we've got sound systems galore, cakes, mini bar and pool tables. You wouldn't think we're one of the leading companies in UK at what we do!

I run a very laid back ship

Very nice find and i spotted this at the right time. Just ordered one...

Cold, Seen these used by many people at large LAN events, even had one myself, they are rubbish! You could probably buy a proper fan for not much more.
