good price but awful looking cable

Hot, I dont care what it looks like, it will be shoved round the back of the pc out of sight!

I'm sure they were giving these away on boffer about a week ago...

Thanks. Just ordered one for UNI. Thanks

does anyone know if this sort of thing would work for ps3?

cheers

Man need one of these. Cheers!

Bargain!

Has anyone used one of these with a 360 or know if it will work???

Thanks looking for one of these as my ipod decided it no longer like my front panel usb connections.

think they are usb 1 tho

Thats quite an interesting concept, looks better than the usual design of hub.

Wont you get a power drop like the usual unpowered hubs suffer from?Might be something to watch out for if you need a continuous power supply to a USB item.

I wouldn't buy one of these unless it was £1 or less.

Why?

Aesthetically its horrible compared to a neat hub, and if you're using the argument that it'll be nestled around the back of the PC - I'd rather have a hub that sits on my desk for easy access.

Furthermore, if you're plugging in 4 devices all at once, you really want it to be powered, or at least to have the option of powering it.

I wouldnt make a comment like this without suggesting what I feel is a better alternative, so ]here's one option. Afaik you don't have to plug it in if the things you're using don't need to be powered.

This is not usb 2, I know it says it is but I have one and it's definately usb 1 and the difference in transfer rate is night and day!

If it says it is it better be ive just ordered one!

Voted hot, I paid around £6 for a similar thing

If it says USB 2.0 compatible it means it's USB 1.1 but compatible with 2.0 devices [but will transfer at 1.1 speeds] Then again it says 2.0 in discription, so bit misleading, my guess is it won't be at this price. I'd get a powered 2.0 on dx for same price
