Update 1
Back in stock and dropped ever so slightly in price
I've not seen these before, but to think they're pretty cool. The switch isn't something that you see all that often. You pick up the bottom ball and put it near the top to turn on the lamp. It holds magnetically. When it's off it would probably look better to hide the bottom ball behind the lamp?

It does come with the USB cable, although doesn't say it comes with the wall adapter, which are pretty cheap anyway, and most of us would likely have one.

This specific brand / model number doesn't seem to be sold elsewhere, although similar are a fair bit more expensive. Maybe a gift idea for someone?

Agreed look amazing
Nice

Looks great and quirky, only downside is the cable is far to short leaving limited places to stand it. Still given heat though.

The lamp has a usb C socket on it so you could buy a longer one if it helps?

!!!
Am I missing something here?
Too small to provide any sort of decent ambient lighting.....

Thanks for the vid, but it still does not explain to me about the magnetic wooden balls bit............or am I a bit thick

Magnet in top ball attracts bottom ball which in turn pulls cord up which is attached to a switch which allows current to flow.

You’re overthinking it. Probably wooden balls with magnets inside or neodymium magnet in one and metal in the other.

Cheers for that I am either thick or tired ........or both
Tempted , no need though.
none left.
To be honest I think it would be better with a standard in line switch. For some people that wouldn't be too hard to do but if there were an option to pay £12 for one with a switch in the cable I'd take that.
Honestly, the most pointless object I’ve seen this year
I like this

Probably wooden with a strong magnet in center, the balls probably just complete a 5 volt switch to allow the led light on ,I think the weakspot might be if the conducting wire to the two balls breaks over time,if the charger was included would be worth it

I don't think the string holding the balls would be conductive. It's probably just a wire contact pulled up by the magnetic force. If you were to just hold the top ball out the way and tug the bottom ball up yourself the light would likely still come on.

The wooden balls and string have been soaked in Chinesium, so are perfectly capable of conducting low voltage current.

Simples really
This is a rip-off of a Kickstarter item (unless it was created somewhere else before that I don’t know about). The lower string is connected to a simple switch. When the string is in tension, the light is on. If you pull it by hand, the light comes on. The wooden balls have magnets in them to hold the string in tension to keep the light on.
Beware, these are fascinating for children and cats!...
Missed out. Dang.
Mysterious contraption! Looks like the sort of thing Skeletor would try and get his boney hands on. We must stop him!
