There are also issues with the Lenovo ZUK Z2 (motherboard?) where it overheats, sometimes catastrophically, with QuickCharge adapters, just to advise caution

For those nervous about such chargers, here's a very in-depth teardown and testing of this model, BW-S9: lygte-info.dk/rev…tml

Conclusion
This is the most universal charger I have seen to date, the smart charge chip in the charger handles just about any fast charge protocol. The charger can deliver the rated power and safety looks good.
For anybody wanting a charger that can handle many different phones with fast charger, this looks like a good charger.

Another unboxing and test:

This is good, if you want something quick and to use now, download the Ampere app from Google Play store play.google.com/sto…ere or another similar app, compare baseline and in use and you can see how much resistance there is, the larger the difference the better (in general)
Is this safe enough for iPhones and iPads xx

Yeah, I used to use Galaxy Charging Current and Ampere (Android apps, not sure if they're iOS) to check how fast certain cables were transferring

I bought the ZTE QC 3.0 Charger that went nuclear on here hotukdeals.com/dea…49 but mine are still at Processing (bought three, in the end, for various people).

One HUKDer reported back and said theirs is marked as Shipped (last week), another said theirs was Cancelled. Seems Gearbest kinda keep you in the dark...!

Not eligible for Prime either - Get it as soon as 30 Dec. - 10 Jan
Ordered one anyway as they are decent products. Does the cable that comes with it allow Quick Charging or do you need to purchase seperately ?

Cheers

There was a Prime listing (guess it's sold out) and another from Blitzwolf - seems a few Chinese sellers do this on Amazon - which suggests Amazon hold some UK stock for them under the "Prime" listing and the other listing is stock abroad - that's just a guess, though.

So you won't get yours for a while as it says "Arrives After Christmas".

I would imagine the (MicroUSB) cable they supply is suitable for use with a QuickCharge Adapter, wouldn't make sense to provide an incapable one. Can't test it as my MicroUSB device is dead and I now have a USB-C phone

Says it ships to the UK at my end. I'm using a Desktop - slapping an m on the URL usually links to the mobile address - try this? m.aliexpress.com/ite…tml

Not sure if you're new to Aliexpress, but remember to change the currency to GBP or they'll charge you in USD.

There's another one with the same display and functions, though slightly different case, at £3.27 ebay.co.uk/itm…652
(though I'm informed that doesn't have all of the same functions)
