Been waiting for this to drop in price for a while.

Very good if you have the new iphone or ipad pro and want to take advantage of the fast charging that they offer.

You need an official apple usb c lightning cable to take advantage of these speeds.

I’ve had this on my wish list forever too. But went for the £19.99 model that was posted yesterday. Someone seemed to suggest that that one is a newer equivalent model to this?
why cold? seems like a good solution 1 charger for lots of devices.

Seems that way, I own this model and it's still only 30W on USB-C with PD like the cheaper model. That's plenty for my XPS 13 mind but not for someone with a macbook (power hungry CPUs).

Saw there was lots of talk about MacBooks on the other thread. I wanted it primarily for a Nintendo Switch :-).

Aah, a switch should be fine, the official dock's rated for 18W (15V 1.2A) so that's about the most you'd expect a switch to draw.
