Cold. No usb C to compensate for one in use

Other than for charging USB C is still quite rare. I'd rather have the 3 USB 3 ports.
If you have a MacBook 12" you would need a USB-C input (Power Delivery) on the hub to allow powering (charging) while using in most situations this hub might be useful.

For £7.99 you can get one.

Would have been nice for the unused c port on my desktop pc but the cable is too short.

The USB-C port on the one out linked is for providing extra power to usb devices such as HDDs etc and not for powering phones/laptop.

The description says this.
Please Note
The USB 3.0 interfaces can't be used to charge your phones, tablets or other devices even with a charger plugged into the USB-C charging port.
When connecting high power consumption devices (external hard drives), please power the product with additional AC adapter via a Type C port.

The first bullet point states:
  • Ultra slim Type C Hub with Power Delivery (PD) Specification - charging your laptop while connecting multiple devices and transferring data.
The information you have quoted is just the information for the standard USB ports

No Ethernet!

Correct. What do you expect for £7.99. As already mentioned without power delivery why would you need ethernet? In a desktop environment you would expect your laptop to be plugged in when using such external connections.

Just saying that the product being recommended differs to the one in original post
If anyone can live without the Power Delivery function you can save £2 by getting this one for £9.99.
