Convert your existing 30-pin Apple dock to work with almost any smartphone or tablet with the Universal Bluetooth Dongle.

A simple way to listen to more of your music, this neat device plugs into your existing Apple 30-pin dock, whatever make it is. Now it will receive Bluetooth signals from your smartphone, tablet, laptop, in fact anything that transmits a Bluetooth signal.

Powered via the dock, the Universal Bluetooth Dongle doesn't need batteries or access to the mains, and its small size makes portable too. Its 10m range makes for reliable connectivity in all but the very largest of rooms.

Similar to an earlier version from 7dayshop at £12
The Apple socket needs to be able to power the dongle. My 7dayshop ones work on everything I have tried
People have even had success in their cars, converting the dock to a Bluetooth compatible device.
At this price got to be worth a go

Presumably the dongle will only work when the speakers are plugged into the mains which would normally allow charging the iPod/iphone.
And not with something like the logitech pure-fi anywhere which is battery powered?

This is so that you can dispense altogether with the apple device and use a Bluetooth something or other.
It means that an Apple Dock etc. can be shared by both Apple devices and Bluetooth compatible devices.
Better than having to throw out a top end Apple dock like a Bose, because everyone in the house has moved onto something other than Apple.
The dock will be powered on, which powers the dongle. The Bluetooth device - say a phone can be plugged in anywhere else as long as its in range.

NB: The three I have work exceptionally well to be honest - and mine cost a lot more than this !!

As I said I had no problems with these dongles and at 99p ... worth a punt
My last KitSound kit had slo acting volume control. These KitSounds Bluetooth receivers must be shurely worth a pint I mean punt Hic!
does anyone know if this will work with an in car audio specifically the pioneer sph da-100 as it doesnt have bluetooth but does have an old ipod connectivity?
I have a similar Tesco technic device and they only work with certain devices. I couldn't get it to work with an Alpine unit or a BMW iPod unit from 2004-6. It works well with a basic dock though.

Car docks seem to be the most troublesome. Not powering the Dongle normally. But at this price wort trying it out.
Bought for my Sainsburys Blaupunkt and does not fit. :-( because my dock clicks out and not wide enough for the receiver.
Richer sounds Chelsea has no more stock despite their system saying 6. I bought two.
These unit are Bluetooth version 2.0 according to manual. This is as ancient as it gets.
Sorry for accidental like on chinkza but don't know how to unlike.

I used an Apple Dock Extender for a similar reason - worked a treat
Thanks for suggestion on extender bit. I am feeling Oh no, another thingeybob at the end.

Do you think other Bluetooth receivers might have less girth so that it would fit? Also not so happy about BT2.0. Might lookout for a BT4+ unit.

Also, received other KitSound DAB stuff and found out they are wonky a few minutes ago.

A guy at work bought one that looks like the one in the picture above with "ks" on it. It was tiny. Maybe you got the one pictured underneath, looks fatter.

Out of interest his did not work in his car, but fine on all his other docks.
Can confirm I got the one with the KS as well ie the upper one. KS means KitSound. Yes it was tiny but my docking pins is not topside but its like a drawer and pops out when needed but otherwise you would not know there is a dock there but the drawer bit only pulls out a little which is the problem. It's main functionality is a dab radio. I guess I better consider that extender. Thanks.
I never noticed this post until just now. I have just bought two, both types and the both work fine with my docks running 240v. Total bargain!!!
