Sure you are not thinking of the ES1-111M @ Tesco - Which has 2GB of RAM and non-swapable 32GB eMMC drive... I

Have this as a secondary laptop, paid double that brand new! Overall very good laptop, feel that Acer have tried to make it look ' macbook' like. The only fault I find with it is the keyboard is abit unresponsive but fine when you've got used to it. All the ports are at the back of the laptop which is good for me but not sure about anyone else

the amount of scratches and damage as well as missing bits makes this a cold deal for me.

Forgot to say, Heat! Great potential if you were to put a SSD in as OP has already said.

Is it used or refurbished?

Nice price, any issues with the touch pads on these?

apparently there is from the reviews in amazon...however one of them gave the fix to this problem (credit to Wrecking Ball/Amazon) :

There are many complaints about the touchpad being skittish, freezing, or plain not working. Here's how to fix it:

1. Go to the Acer support site for your locale, type in your model number (E3-111 in this case) and download the latest BIOS update. Update the BIOS. Reboot.

2. Download the latest Synaptics driver from the Acer support site and install it.

3. Install all Windows updates. Reboot.

Eg Ram upgrade to 8gb = Here

Eg SSD upgrade : Crucial 120gb
