How can it be "All photos are of the laptop listed." if they have more than 10 available?

Tempting

Just bought one

30 minutes battery sounds pretty useless

30 minutes battery sounds pretty useless

Bought one from him. Got 5 hours worth of charge under medium usage.. Though I have separate issue with two USB 3.0 ports. Both are wobbly and not able to register anything.

I have bought twice from this seller and have had excellent service.

Is this laptop good for general use? I just need it to complete assignments and watch iplayer etc

Yes it will be fine.

does this have a dvd drive???????????

would it likely have genuine copies of word etc? I bought a 2nd hand one last summer from one of the groupon type outfits and when it broke down and it was reinstated it said non genuine Microsoft installed and was a real pain. Also would it play dvd's?

I have purchased from this seller a couple of items, reliable seller

All gone now. Expired

This deal has now ended

Stop to think for a minute. Is is realistic to assume that the supplier has a batch of batteries that only last 30 minutes? Of course not, the quoted value is the threshold whereby the warranty comes in to effect. It's almost certain the battery will last longer than 30 minutes, if it doesn't then you're covered with the warranty.

Ah I am late

i have bought five i5's from this source, a charity based site and have been satisfied with all of them. Mainly for my grandchildren (see my other posts for these items). All are still going strong, not as fast as my new laptop, but really not that much difference. Recommend them.

Can you post a link to that hotukdeal?

Yes but if you keep an eye on their pages they seem to get new stock every week with these making up part of that stock supply.

Yes and no, yes it is a workable solution but remember that this is a 12inch screen. So it's quite a bit smaller than your average laptop with a 15.6inch screen. It's designed for portability. If you plan to do any level of working on it I'd advise you consider trying to get a similar spec e6520 which will have a larger screen and thus makes it a bit easier to use for doing serious amounts of writing.

Clicks go to deal, reads spec sheets, obtains answer to question........ Certainly seems to me as much better solution than waiting over 11hours for an answer to the question you posted.

Mine came today, well happy with it the battery in mine has lasted over 2 hours so far with about 40% left, checked with the service tag on dell's website and its still under warranty until march 2016!

I bought one too in the end and it came today. The back is slightly scuffed, from storage rather than use by the looks of it, but the keyboard and screen appear unused. Added bonus is that it has a mobile broadband modem card in it, though I haven't tried a sim yet, should do GPS as well apparently, but how you turn that on is a mystery so far. Battery life was showing as over 8 hours but dropped to a more realistic 5.5 after some use. USB ports are tight and functional. Overall very chuffed, wish I had bought a couple more! Thanks OP! Now considering a RAM and SDD upgrade.

My USB ports are wobbly and already claimed my makeshift external's life.
Battery shows 81% cell wear so it's good.

Mine came and was slightly marked, but as VDisillusioned wrote above it came with a Dell 5560 HSDPA modem and is showing a very good battery life (in excess of five hours). Much, much better than I thought. I can't help thinking they might have mispriced these.

This looks like it was a steal then. Glad I posted it

Thanks for letting me know that there's a SIM modem card. I otherwise wouldn't have known.
Have you tried it yet?
Apparently it want's something bigger than a Nano.

I haven't yet. I will do at some point but probably only out of curiosity really. Pretty much every situation where I can think I might need the mobile broadband/GPS functionality could be catered for by tethering the laptop to my mobile with Bluetooth. Still a cool feature to find fitted

True that.. But still I once used hotspot for a few days as I was away from home, the thing is it was too taxing on my phone's battery and it caused it to die. So it might help in such an instance by getting a spare SIM for my laptop.
