Curry's PCWorld eBay outlet are currently offering 37% off the RRP, for a used Google Chromecast 2.

Reasonable price, for those who missed the Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals.

I use mine for YouTube & Google Music, all the time.

Needs a better title, looks like you get 2 for £18.97.

Misleading title. I thought that you get 2 units

title noted & changed.

would I be right to assume as condition is used this won't have the 3 months netflix the new ones have on activation?

Would be worth getting just for that if it did....

@ontheqt, if it goes wrong, it has a 12 months warranty. Which is more than I can say for a majority of the stuff, that you can purchase through eBay.

@ST3123 I doubt that the Netflix activation will apply, but now & again there are reasonable offers on the Google Home app, simply by owning one of these devices.

These were £18-20 brand new during Black-Friday-Fortnight and the standard non-sale price before that and now is £28. Prices will likely lower again boxing day/January so wouldn't invest in a used one right now! Google will end up selling them off cheap anyway to concentrate on the Ultra version as right now they aren't really promoting the latest model as probably have a whole load of these to shift first! Soon it'll be all about the Ultra!!

I would give it a try. Free Returns, in case no Netflix.

Yes, the thought passed my mind but I actually sent them a message last night and they got back to me today and confirmed they don't have the 3 months Netflix, suppose it's still possible they might just be saying that to cover themselves and the odd few might still have it but pretty unlikely.

I think the new price is slowly coming back down with Tesco, Currys etc coming back down to £25, if one of those comes down just a bit more or a voucher saving comes up I'll bite if not I've alreday activated two so not essential, just such a good deal I don't see it being repeated any time soon so want to make the most of it....

Thanks for this OP! Just got one!
