Ugh received mine, looks like an unscrupulous return. Something loose inside and not even the correct power connection

Edit: Ordered a replacement as still had 20% off warehouse items 2nd one doesn't even power up. Don't think I would advise ordering electronicics from Amazon Warehouse. Will wait for a 'new' offer (edited)

Because those that have experience with Amazon Warehouse know most of the items are literally untouched. It's the best deal currently, I don't think many people care what you paid last year looking to buy it today.

I use steam link for streaming movies and games, works quite well. Then my smart TV feature for apps and a mic in the remote.

Can someone convince me or tell me why I should buy this? Its had my interest for a while but never known what it could do that I couldn't already. (edited)

The upscaling is great and it handles Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and HDR.

It's a very capable box, but the Steam Link is also excellent

Glad I bought one of these. Plays everything I have thrown at it. Only thing that I don't like is that my Samsung soundbar has random audio dropouts and it's a known issue. Samsung blame Nvidia and Nvidia blame Samsung.

Does it change anything if they are connected through the TV in the middle? I want one of these and have a Samsung bar

Will this make streaming from pc to the TV faster than steam link?

Yes since it uses Nvidia Gamestream much less latency.

On the device you're using Steam Link with I recommend using Moonlight instead.

It uses the same protocols as Nvidia Gamestream and open source can download from play store.

Returned mine today not impressed not doing much my TV already does overrated I preferred the Amazon Cube with voice activation tbh
