Yeah that's fair enough, but I am pretty sure the warranty does apply, but …Yeah that's fair enough, but I am pretty sure the warranty does apply, but yeah can understand if weren't 100% sure, better to leave it out.

Yes, confusing since the listing on Amazon says "2 year Manufacturer Warranty" but the Amazon website says generally Amazon Warehouse items aren't covered by a manufacturer warranty.

So since I'm spending a lot of money I phoned them up to check this out and got a response stating that my item IS covered by a 2 year manufacturer warranty and got them to email me this

Just to be aware though I don't know if this applies to all mobile phones or anything else purchased at the Amazon Warehouse.

Not sure the 2 year warranty applies for Amazon Warehouse deals which is why I left it out of the title.

If the phone doesn't come with either a case and/or the screen protector, get onto customer services and get them to reduce the item.

Good work, yeah I would have done the same if I was buying, I assumed it would, but good you have evidence!
I've been after this phone for a while, but I've never bought from amazon warehouse before. What can I expect? Thanks
I've bought a few things from Amazon Marketplace over the years, generally speaking, I've found it to be good. the best part is, if you have second thoughts or any concerns you can return with no quibble for a quick refund. Things to be aware of is who is selling? Is it Amazon, the official retailer or a third party. If the latter, check their reviews. Ideally you want ot be buying from the first two options though for peace of mind.

Oh... and do read the smallprint. That's where any gotchas will be hiding. Best to know what they are before you commit.

Thanks.

These are dispatched and sold by amazon so gonna give it a go. Like you say can always send back and if it still comes with a 2 year warranty then it seems like a very good deal.

Edit : Just realised you've said marketplace. This is amazon warehouse.

Also had this confirmed. Amazon will help you for 1 year but they have stated that it is still covered by the 2 year manufacturer warranty
Was going to bite but don’t think the 2 year will work after all - terms on site state: Are products certified by the original manufacturer?Used products are not certified by the original manufacturer and the original manufacturer will not offer a warranty for the product. However, all products sold by Amazon Warehouse can be returned in accordance with Amazon's Returns Policy.
Presumably at the point of trying to claim with oneplus you would have to provide proof of purchase and at that point would be rejected?

Should be covered by phone insurance unlike grey import though?

Yea I know what your saying and its bugging me a bit tbh.

But ive just had it confirmed by a second amazon agent and sent to email (for future proof!) so I'd like to think if oneplus did reject it then amazon would follow through with it as they've stated that it is 2 year. Guess I won't find out unless I had to use it!

Let's hope we're all happy with them
I have the 6t currently and that's been rock solid.

I'm coming from a Oneplus 3T, was almost swayed by the Xiaomi 9T Pro and the like but I need some warranty \ guarantee confidence spending that sort of money.
Just had the last one for the GF, I took a punt on the the 6T last year and couldn't recommend this brand more.

I started with the OnePlus One, then the 5t, currently 6t and tomorrow, hopefully, the 7t...

There's a bit of a pattern forming....

I'm coming from a Oneplus 3,loved it tho. Main reason of me upgrading is the battery is draining so fast now
Well I did next day delivery and my phone just arrived.
OnePlus box wasn't damaged at all, plastic cover over the phone was ripped and some specs of dust on it so its been unwrapped by someone.
Phone is in perfect condition though, no marks or scratches from what I can see.
Phone case, charger and lead (still coiled perfectly) all in the box. Very happy with my purchase
So phone is in hand. Very nice. Tiny bit bigger than the old OP 6T
Despite all the ways both Google and OnePlus try to make the pain of migration a thing of the past, even with the transfer tool provided by OnePlus, it took me the best part of an afternoon to replicate my phone, apps, logins and the rest. You always forget that part when you finally decide to upgrade.

Mine arrived and it's a great phone and thanks to op for post but mine has got to go back. It has dust underneath the camera lens which affects photo quality sadly. To those who managed to bag one of these shine a light on the selfie camera and check for dust. Cheers

That's a shame. How on earth do you get dust *under* the lens though?!

I'd guess a manufacturing fault or if the screen had been replaced poorly. The rest of the phone was spotless though. When I say lens I mean under the screen glass not under the actual camera optics

Happy with mine but not sure about battery health - seems to drain quickly but then again I'm coming from iPhone so can't complain! Also probably don't know all the optimisation options for Android yet - it's been a mission moving from IOS!

There have been battery drainage issues on Android 10 so it might be that.
Sadly I returned the OP7T to Amazon today. For reasons I never got to the bottom of, the phone kept going into silent/vibrate mode at odd times of the day without me setting any options to do so. The only way I could get the phone to play sounds and ring was to use the physical slider, set to normal and push it up then back down again. My guess is it's a faulty physical connection under this sliding switch as I could not see anything in software. In case anyone else gets this, someone suggested that it might be related to the wellbeing app...
