Used playstation move controllers v1 and v2 £20 at cex

With all the vr deals lately I thought I would share this...

I already had one move controller and the price for the sets are pretty crazy at the moment!

I'd recommend going into the shop to have a look at the controller too, the Newcastle store had two and one was scratched all the way down the side. See if you can look at the barcode sticker on the back, if its faded with sweat then it's probably been used a lot but if it's still clear then it might have only been used a handful of times!!!

Only just realised they look like a Hitachi wand
Good price, shame Sony haven't had any more like gun games done lately.
Do these actually work for the VR though. Don't they both have to have the Glowy ball on top. If anyone has info could they shed some of their Gangalf the White knowledge .
These are a bit hit and miss from cex, you may need to factor in around £10 on top for a new battery, had two in the past, one was ok the other battery wouldn't hold a charge

You just need two of the controllers linked...

As far as I'm aware the playstation move navigation controller below isn't used in vr and was just used for the ps3 move games

Might be worth getting a v2 model for this, they haven't been out that long so should be better. Think the only other difference is the v2 is the same connector as the pads to be charged. The v1 is an older style port
I bet they smell funny

The V2 has a slightly better battery as well.

Probably smell of dust, can't imagine they got much use from the ps3s limited collection of move games
Heat for finding an option that isn't over £60
Yeah one of mine broke, so I ended up going into CEX to pick up a used one since it was the cheapest place to get just a single controller (can only buy them new in packs of two for the most part). Managed to pick one up that looked pretty clean, worked fine too. I got told that there was a 2 year warranty on it.
Didn't realise it was still 2013

I agree with the sentiment here.

Sony should have brought out a new move style controller with thumb sticks for VR.

It would make a huge difference.

To be charging £60-£70 for a pair of these is daylight robbery.

Fortunately I got it with my vr bundle but haven’t open the box yet
Picked up two V1 from cex last Saturday after just getting VR. Mine work great and tried Batman VR tonight with them. Really good game to test the move controllers out. Also as others have stated you get two year warranty with cex.

You can use the ps3 ones on the ps4 for Vr.

Check the sticker on the back and it says what model you have so you can see on cex how much you would get for them

Or actually sell on eBay, I think you'll get over 20 for it there so might be better

Bit expensive for that surely? If your into that kinda thing wouldn't you just buy something more suited for it for cheaper? I guess I'm lucky that i can own items shaped like this without tarnishing them but maybe your right and everyone else wouldnt be able to resist
Are the V2 available in UK? I got some PS4 branded ones from Currys a while back and they were V1.

Because they've got so many left in storage? And the tooling mustv'e cost em an absolute flipping fortune?
