Looks like a great deal.
Reviews look very mixed though. Alot of people having to return because of faulty parts.
You get a 3 months warranty with warehouse deals don't you?
Definitely tempted, cheers op

Only 30 days for warehouse products.
90 days for renewed products.

I think Amazon are generally quite flexible with returns though.
Voted hot and added one to my basket, still giving some thoughts. Has almost everything, would have been great if it was 14 or 15.6 inch.
Any idea with the warranty from Amazon warehouse? Seems too many available, assuming they are returns, so a bit of concerns but looks like a very good deal to me.
Im liking that it's thin but how does this affect battery? Guessing battery is average based on experience of using thin laptops.
Very good deal, this Laptop is up there with xps13 etc....not quite as good...but for the price it's a steal ...the warranty is the main worry....feeling lucky punk?
Very mixed reviews

Yeah. 30 days is probably enought to know about any issues with daily use (if using for work all day etc). Would manufacturer warranty still be applicable on warehouse deals? Presume these are still within the years warranty being Amazon returns.
Don't see anywhere mention IPS so it's cold from me.
I got this on last warehouse 20% on bf and had to return as it would throw a critical hardware error every few minutes. Looks nice and solid and maybe I was just unlucky, but I would be cautious about these (mine is probably within the pool of the 12 available)
Wouldn't you be covered for more than 1 month / 3 months by consumer law anyway? Surely dropping £400 on a laptop, it is expected to give you at least a year if not two? Any experts out there?
reviews are very poor on this item, i was looking at getting on at the weekend, then found they had a surface pro 6, with the new i5-8250 processor and 8gb ram, but only 128gb SSD, which also included the keyboard, so went with that instead.
Was £505 after the 20% discount, and the item that arrived looked brand new with no marks, so very happy.

the surface also had 9 months of it's original 1 year warranty left, so happy with it, won't need to use the amazon 30 way warranty

The law offers less protection for used goods than new ones. But according to Which? you should be able to return the product if it is faulty in the first 6 months:
which.co.uk/con…ods

Anyway most things fail in the first few days or after many years. To be sure you could look at the SMART data for the SSD, and run memtest to test the RAM. I have returned a harddrive to Amazon warehouse, after the SMART data showed lots of problems.

Did you get this recently? Do you have a link? Thanks! I was debating getting this, but A surface is a good option.
I've considered a surface too but the lack of usb-c put me off. The latest version has usb-c but is non-thunderbolt.

https://www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/shop/ASUS-ZENBOOK-S13-UX391UA-13.3-FULL-HD-LAPTOP-SCREEN__263545.aspAccording to this laptop part site it is IPS

Thanks INY. Would be nice if an actual owner could confirm the screen tech for us. Normally, if it doesn't state IPS, it isn't.

It's a flagship laptop. The screen is mint on this model. Most certainly not TN matrix.
But with a warehouse stock it's not the screen you should be concerned about.

there was only 1 there, it was a warehouse item, in the 20% off event, so the final price was £504.

I've checked some YouTube reviews yesterday, it does have an IPS screen. Also, this is about £1,000 new, flagship laptop, so practically impossible not to have IPS. The only thing negative I came across was people saying is quite glossy.

I always go for warehouse items. When they go wrong I email Amazon and they replace the item if it's available. Just have a quick chat to confirm what the warranty is if your really worried. But 💯 it's 1 year. If it's bought new even Amazon will fob you off to manufacture, but if it's warehouse then Amazon take full responsibility. Hope this helps

This laptop has 3 screen options:

13.3-inch LED-backlit 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) 16:9 glossy touchscreen (Deep Dive Blue only)

13.3-inch LED-backlit Full HD (1920 x 1080) 16:9 glossy non-touch display

13.3-inch LED-backlit Full HD (1920 x 1080) 16:9 anti-glare non-touch display

Not sure if this deal has the glossy or non-glossy 1080p though. I'm taking delivery tomorrow so can update then

Thanks! I doubt it is the 4k one. I'm bidding on another one on eBay, bidding ends tomorrow, if not successful I may get one. I've added the more expensive 'used-like new' in my basket, hopefully the 20% off Amazon Warehouse does not end tonight.
Please let us know, thank you!

Absolutely. I also find strange some sellers do not mention the weight on laptops. To me the weight is one of the main factors when getting a laptop. Mine is 4 years old and 1.3 kg, so really do not want anything over 1.5kg.

The 20% off event ends Friday 31st midnight.

The laptop in this deal is definitely 1080p. It says in the product page title. I just don't know whether it is glossy or non-glossy yet
Does this come with the mini dock and sleeve, as a new one would?

Have you got yours? Does it look OK? I am thinking to get one tonight, thanks!

Edit - in fact I've just placed an order for 'used-like new', £442 with discount, only 2 were left so didn't want to take the risk.

I've picked mine up but haven't opened it yet since I'm still at work. Will update you later when I get a chance.

Regarding the better rated warehouse conditions. I have strangely (sometimes) found them to be poorer in condition than lower rated conditions
