Better than an S6, not quite. Lower screen resolution, lower video capture resolution and possibly one version earlier of Android OS too.

"Thinks" it's better than an S6, subjective point there

“A product is listed as "Used" or "Unsealed" when the manufacturers seal on the product box has been broken. "Used" products may have minor wear or damage to the box, such as small tears, minor edge depressions or appear a little aged. The product itself may be pristine or have very minor signs of handling or use, which do not affect the functionality of the product. "Used" items may be aged stock, ex-display from a Currys PC World retail store, or an unwanted, opened product returned by a retail customer. All unsealed, "Used" products are visually inspected and will be deemed saleable. If the product has heavy box damage or missing parts, this will be stated in the product listing. If a product listing states "Heavy box damage", this means the product box will have more significant damage, such as crushing, holes, tears, rips or more prominent label damage. The product within the box will have been deemed undamaged and saleable.”

extra 10% off if u buy 2 items from the offer. so £11 cheaper to buy with vr headset.

Not a bad deal but as stated above ' Son is using it and thinks it is better than his friends Galaxy 6.' - it's not. Unsurprisingly somebody thinks what they have is better than something they don't.

Minecraft and Pokémon Go are the absolute measure of all devices - aren't they?

Yes, there has been at least 1 OTA update to Marshmallow since I purchased it in Feb 2016 - so try the following:

Settings > Update > Check for updates

HiCare app > Me tab > Check for updates

HiCare app > Service tab > OS Upgrade Early Adopters

Click here if you need to download & install the Huawei HiCare app.

I'm presently on B370 - manual update instructions here if needed.

Also posted some update info several months ago in the original CPW P8 thread, but may be outdated now:

Tried most of the options above but no updates available. Will probably leave it now as I don't fancy the manual option. - cheers.

I had problems with mine too. It turns out some of the phones Id network sent out to customers were registered as demo phones and were never meant for customers so do not get updates. However 2 phonecalls later to support both lasting about 5 mins and 2 weeks wait my phone got the update. They tried to fob me off with contact network they shouldn't have sold you the phone but as I was no longer with the network and I knew they would be rubbish I refused this idea.
