Shows £28.49 for me

Looks like I get the 15% discount on the item as i have more than 5 subs at present, 5% is £28.49 which is still a discount

Yep, that's a pretty untouchable price. USN prices are pretty outrageous normally so this is good.... I'm completely overstocked for protein so I'll have to pass, Heat added.

I wasn't disputing that 5% discount is still a discount, I was just wondering where the £25.49 price came from!

MyProtien sell double the amount (5kg) for £28 regularly on offer

Myprotein is disgusting and bad customer service, spent £50 with them when they had a 40% code and had 1 of each flavour then had to sell, luckily got most of my money back. Protein works/ go nutrition or any good company offer exchanges.

My protein was too watery, even with milk, and the vanilla turned browny/green after 3 hours without being washed out, never seen that before.

Ingredients:

Whey protein concentrate Calcium caseinate High isoflavone soy protein isolate cocoa powder fructose MCT (medium chain triglycerides) oil (from palm) rice starch Lactoval (milk mineral complex high in calcium, phosphorus and magnesium) stabilizer: cellulose gum egg albumen flavouring whey protein isolate Tolerase L (pH-stable lactase) magnesium oxide l-ascorbic acid non-nutritive sweetener: sucralose, nicotinamide d-alpha tocopherol acetate d-calcium pantothenate retinyl acetate d-biotin pyridoxine-5- phosphate cholecalciferol thiamine HCI riboflavine cyanocobalamin pteroylmonoglutamic acid

Uggh look at those ingredients... Soy protein, fructose MCT, palm oil(!). Why does protein powder need palm oil?

Here are the ingredients from bulkpowders protein powder:

Undenatured Whey Protein Concentrate 82%, Instantising Agent, Flavouring.

and it's cheaper...

Outrageously overpriced still and ghastly ingredient profile. Putting this junk in your body? No ta. Proper real food diet - this stuff is ok whilst dieting to make up the macros but surely you can get purer content for a better price?

I never had a problem with them so far. But the protein i bought was from Optimum Nutrition but it's expensive:

Can anyone tell me is gold standard really "the best" or is it just over priced?? I usually take scimx and fancy trying gold standard

Check the nutritional profile. It's over priced coz of the label. You want the cleanest protein you can get, the protein works, bulk powders, my protein, etc. Cheaper, cleaner.

I've you wanna stay away from its Maximuscle. That's for the people who have no clue and trust a pharmaceutical company to chuck all types of junk in!

Good price for an overpriced brand! Soy is the cheapest protein so I'd stick to Why 80 from BBW, Proteinworks or My protein

The quality is better, but its not worth the difference, get some normal Whey 80 and add in creatine with the money saved, this should get better 'gainz'!

There's nothing wrong with Gold Standard or this really, however you can get a lot more for your money if you shop around. Bulk suppliers are a lot cheaper and always discount codes knocking about.

Look how much protein per 100g as an indicator, less than 70g is a waste IMO. Also be wary that if ingredients such as creatine, taurine, glycine are listed, they count towards the total protein content, they are a lot cheaper than protein powder too. Sorry for long winded post

Would never buy USN again after last time, Choco flavour tasted ghastly and no other flavours interest me- personally.

Voted Hot for people who may find it ok to taste

Sucralose. Nice.

Cheers lads :-)

had the vanilla last time it was beautiful! I use this, and gold standard. Gold standard after workout and this as a meal replacement.

I've never understood why anyone would want to replace their meals with a shake. I like whey protein but it is a food supplement, not a replacement.

Ha that's what i meant mate I cant eat 7 meals a day lol

Because sometimes eating vanilla flavoured cookie doe is more appealing then savoury fish, meat, whatever.

Ha ha I have a sweet tooth

I've tried pretty much all the protein brands over the years. this USN is well priced and a good product. Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard is my favourite. It tastes good, it is easy on the stomach and seems to be effective. I'm currently trying to put on some weight so im trying their mass gainer. so far so good. 600calories per shake with protein and creatine.

Why would you want to?

Great price for a great protein. These are superb for carb controlled diets. Definitely not the best tasting but who cares, it's all about the results!
