Or direct with PlusNet £8.00 per month but with only 1000 mins. If you don't need the minutes you may as well save £6 a year.

Be careful when ordering this - Plusnet only gave me 1000 texts on this package. They have so many similar tariffs, even they get confused!

Or go for the Three 4GB for £9 via Quidco and get £45 cash back.

Also Three supports VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling but Plusnet don't.

No roaming, though, and a 12-month contract. Depends on what you're after really.

I have 2 sims for relatives with unlimited calls/texts + 5gb data 30 days for £7.50 a month

My relatives were paying £10 a month for this when I first signed up with Plusnet and found a better deal elsewhere and I was ready to move my relatives to another network for a better deal so they offered me this through cancellation department

Apologies in advance for what might be a stoopid question....but here goes...

When I see these and other 12 month deals, I always wonder what happens after the 12 month period. Does the price ramp up or does it stay at £8.50 a month for ever (or increased by inflation?)

This isn't a 12 month deal - it is 30 days notice. In gereral the terms of the mobile deal will continue after the end of the initial contract period - this is probably due to the fact that for a given £x pm there are better deals out there so if you do nothing you will carry on receiving the same bundle for the same price.

Then this sounds a good deal, I wondered if it was like fixed price energy deals that are capped for 12 months and then go mentally higher. Thanks for the reply, think this could be well worth a dabble

One of the advantages of the Plusnet deals is that you can change the bundle once a month so if you see a new special offer you just contact them and you will move to the new bundle on your monthly reset date,

Just what I was looking for - thanks OP!

I got this offer, then found out they don't do wifi calling. When i went to Turkey recently i find out it's not in their roam at home list and you cannot buy bolt ons for using abroad so hello big charges. Wished I'd stayed with Ee tbh.
