Seems a great deal for the 20% not on a contract (?) lol

Does the free WhatsApp now pay for your mobile phone data usage when using the app?

I take it this is what Virgin are proposing to do when they say (copied from the OP’s post): Data-free messaging on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Twitter

What ??

WhatsApp is free to use over WiFi
If you use WhatsApp outside WiFi then it's mobile data on your phone plan

Ah, didn't see that, just read the headline 'free whatsapp'. That said, it's only free data with virgin, if it takes you over your 4GB data limit otherwise it's just part of your allowance.
That seems like a good deal, heat!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.
the whatsapp is obvisouly free, what they mean is the data useage by wahtsapp isnt taken out of your allowance.
Oos
Virgin sales person offered me £5 sim 1500 minutes and 2gb data. Unfortunately i just started three contract in January
Well I’m after contract sim and was really thinking about virgin ? Are the that bad and aren’t all phone company’s bad anyway ,with o2 at moment

I was with them for about 2 and a half years. Never had a problem with them. Signal was always good even in the countryside. I left them because I found a phone contract on EE which they wouldn't match. Considering back to them for a sim only once my contract is up.

Is your choice to be in contract, I choose not to be so I can get better deals.

Because of "serious flaws in the procurement process", and they won the case if memory serves correctly?
I got the same deal on 30 day contract for £4 before xmas.

What does your comment mean? You do know that sim only is still a contract?

Sim only also accounts for more than 20% of contracts...
